The lampshade is made of molded paper pulp, which gives it a unique expression with a lot of character.

Perfect Bedroom Pendant LorenzaI wanted a pendant light to replace my nightstand lamp, something that would draw the eye upward, making the room feel taller while also freeing up table space. The cord length is perfect for 8’ ceilings, though the shade is a bit larger than I expected, with more of a star shape when viewed from below. Despite being plastic, it looks surprisingly high-end, allowing light to pass through the entire shade, unlike the cardboard alternative. Since we were testing this option, we didn’t hardwire the lights. Instead, we installed them using wall anchors and screws, tucking the wires into the ceiling cap for a clean look. If we decide to hardwire in the future, it’ll be an easy switch. We added warm rechargeable lights, and they work beautifully!5

It's not the thickest material, but this little light does the job. There is enough downwards light and some coming from the sides to make a room light up better. No issues, have used the light shade to instal into another Ikea light base..
