Love it with some small asks for improvements!DanielWe remodeled our entire kitchen and we absolutely love the design and options Ikea offers! The only little recommendation to Ikea is: Please improve the layers of paint/color/isolation on the boards. For example, if you have wet fingers and you open the kitchen cabinet, be careful you are not letting any water in the opening grip areas of the board. It will soak it up through paint and then bubble up slightly. We are careful and have no kids, so it is easy to be disciplined but it is highly recommended to improve the material. Another option that we chose is that we added an invisible layer (like on a phone) of folie to every cabinet. Pain in the A.... to do that but it will ensure that it will probably keep up for many many many more years :) Ikea: propose this could be an add on option that you actually sell ;)4

AnonymousIt was damaged in the corner but we installed it as it was better than a gaping hole. These drawer fronts seem to be extremely rare. That was another reason we didn’t Immediately return it. Excluding that, it’s a great kitchen!4

Excellent - No handle drawer frontAnonymousLook and feel is excellent, clean lines, excellent matte white finish, plastic re-enforcement on the bottom, top, and sides. Excellent protection for this drawer front made out of Particle Board. My concern is the price, they are very pricy for a painted PB. My bathroom cabinets made out of same Particle Board bubbled within the first year. This version looks much better and I am hoping that it wont bubble with minor water spillage.4

Material

We often use paper foil for storage furniture, while plastic foil suits demanding areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Today, the plastic we use is mostly recycled and our goal is to use plastic from renewable sources. Laminate is made of resin-impregnated paper, which adds a durable and moisture-resistant surface for countertops.
