Disappointed purchase AndreaI am always a fan of IKEA new product, unfortunately this purchase was quite disappointing.
The delivery time was one day behind what I expected.
Then, the product was damaged, unfortunately I am not able to bring it back to the store to do return, so I need to keep this damaged item.
Kind of cheap but looks nice after....YolandaThe frame were the holes are were dented and some of the areas wear had spray paint dripping that dried improperly and there were extra holes in the frame.
it works! VioletteWe bought two of these. The powdered coating was inconsistent on both units. One of the shelves had a slight chip in the glass and I find the glass to scratch easily. But they were affordable and add color to a room!

Horrible to assemble and WOBBLYGabbyI don’t understand how this has so many five star reviews. I feel really deceived. This is not a five star product. It’s incredibly annoying to assemble, and once it’s assembled it’s not stable. The top and bottom panels can’t be attached without a drill (there’s no holes for the screws) and even with a drill it’s really hard. There is no stability to this shelf whatsoever. I guess it’s supposed to be attached to the wall in order to be stable but it doesn’t come with any screws to do that. It’s super wobbly. Luckily I don’t have any kids or pets so as long as I don’t touch the shelf too much it should be ok. Definitely not meant to last. Cheap, bad design. Looks cute at the end of the day but the quality is so disappointing. Stay away!
Very Nice PieceRichardVery nice piece - the glass is great. Only complaint is there's no holes in the top and panels so it's impossible to screw them in. Not sure why it's this way but it doesn't really matter too much if they're screwed in or not.
great unitEileenthis is a very good looking, sturdy and useful cabinet. my son-in-law put it together for me and he had a bit of trouble but all turned out well in the end. i would recommend this as a medium width cabinet for whatever your needs. Mine is displaying plants.
Living room highlightEileenPositively the perfect size for my living room, make a great accessory to display family photos, vases, whatever. And it matches the coffee table that I bought a few months ago. I could not be more pleased.
Incredibly wobbly and cheap BrianThis shelf is required to be screwed into the wall to have any amount of stability. If you have even the slightest baseboards on your walls, you cannot use this product. Definitely but something else!

Extremely poor quality controlKimberlyThis is the 4th Vittsjo shelf I have purchased. The other 3 have been perfect--not a single scratch or bubble in the paint on those 3 shelving units. However this shelving unit is covered in both bubbles in the paint and scratches. I stopped counting the bubbles and scratches when I got to 20 but there are probably at least a dozen more. Unfortunately it will take more time than I have to repackage the item and haul it back to Ikea...so I'm stuck with this crummy shelf. I have no idea how this piece of junk got past Ikea's quality control staff. Super disappointing.
Terrible, even for IKEAAlexWiggly, cannot get it tight no matter what. No wall connections/screws. WORST of all no pre-drilled holes for the vital boards that actual give the shelf stability and it's impossible to screw in without going out and buying a drill

I bought 2. I’d like to buy 2 additional pieces of glass for the shelves. But I don’t see that option. I’d rather have glass than the wood that’s on the top shelf.

some amateur design, but cheaper than mostOmarNot IKEA's finest assembly procedure or fit+finish, but well priced for the appearance of the final product.
* Super-annoying adhesive on stickers on the frame has to be scrubbed off. No clean peel...
* Mis-drilled side piece meant either skipping one set of screws or skipping the stiffening plates (I did the former)
* No wall attach kit despite recommendation to attach to wall. Note you'll need less common 2" screws if you're using anchors.
* Poor fit: gaps between shelves and frame.
* Wooden shelves don't have pre-drilled holes and the laminate is too tough for the tiny wood screws. You're going to ALSO need a drill to pre-drill (not in instructions).
Looks nice enough when done but twice as annoying as expected. Feels like some designer's first project and he doesn't have his own place so never assembles furniture.
I wouldn't buy another.

Wonderful piece.DonnamarieShelving unit provided replacement of wire cubes used in college dorm. 2 shelves were placed in mstrbdroom closet to provide folded clothes & boxed shoes storage. Size; easily put together; and Tinted shelves were reasons for purchase. Very pleased with product & results it provided to our storage dilemna.
