Board is Hard to Install!!JohnAssembly of frame was easy. VERY difficult to screw the board to the bottom of the frame. This should have pre-drilled starter holes because the board is VERY hard. Broke one drill bit and when I tried again I needed to press hard trying to create just a starter hole, but the drill went all the way through the board. Had a couple screws installed, but lost balance and the board fell, cracking the board where a couple screws already were inserted. A big headache!! Would have rated 5 stars if not for this problem.1

Great Product UNTIL GLASS TOP SHATTEREDKevinI purchased this nesting set about 2 years ago. It was easy to assemble and looked very nice in my living room. Just today, the glass top completely shattered out of nowhere, exploding glass onto my dog that was laying near the table. I'm always careful about what I put on top of the table, how much weight and never to hit it with anything so I don't believe it was user induced. I was so shocked that I looked this up online and come to see that this happens regularly with IKEA glass tabletops, it is part of the manufacturing process where nickel sulfide (sp) is trapped in the glass and expands over time. For a while I have heard some type of crunching sound around the table but could not figure it out. I did today, it was that nickel gas expanding. My dog is ok, just scared. I called IKEA and they said the product is out of warranty so they can't help. Learned a lesson today, will probably avoid ikea glass tables from now on.1
LOVE LOVE LOVEKateI bought this 5 years ago and it is one of my favorite pieces! I forgot to leave a review then, but I'm moving to my 3rd apartment since the purchase and it fits so well in each space. Very versatile. In my first apartment, I used it nested, but in the 2nd home, I had them separate and tucked a basket of blankets underneath the taller square piece. Also, with the glass top, it visually takes up less space.

Wonderful find!MariaI was looking for a coffee table that wouldn't take too much of visual space because it 's a small living room. This is just perfect!!! The glass top did the trick! Both tables give very spacious place without noticing it. It is very elegant and match very well with my stylish armchairs. The result was awesome!5
