Coffee table good value for the price.LaurieThis table is great for a small space. It could work well in a larger space too. The glass top makes it feel less massive. I like how the metal frame that holds the glass top protects the edges. It’s fun for decorating for Christmas too. I have some small trees and candles on the glass and on the lower shelf some small presents wrapped in IKEA red and white wrapping paper. It looks so classy!4

Pretty goodKI got this table over 10 years ago when it was like $40. It was worth the price. I only put 1 screw in the bottom shelf (to prevent it flipping when I rested my feet) and it was solid. I eventually gave it away because it was a tad too small for me and I got kinda tired of the loud noise it made when something glass/metal came into contact with the glass top (not Ikea's fault). My only suggestion would be to offer this table in a lighter color. I choose dark brown over black and it wasn't a noticeable difference. I would buy this table again (not at the current $80 price tag) if it came in medium gray or white. My only real qualm about this table was that crumbs get into the crevasses between where the glass top sits inside of the circular well of the table itself. Not a big deal at all. Solid table, hollow metal frame, solid wooden bottom shelf and it held up like a champ. Again, I would buy again if diff colors and slightly cheaper (maybe $60 tops).4

bottom shelfSarahI did not get instructions with my table but it was self explanatory until I realized I had left over screws. I went online and saw the screws were to secure the bottom shelf. I did not see any predrilled holes and it seemed uncomfortable making new holes so I just laid the bottom shelf in and it is fine. No need to secure it but it was an questionable. Good table and seems well made.5

I chose materials that really bring out books, vases and other favorite things. I'm very happy with the results - the furniture looks great no matter what style you have in your room. And it comes at a great price, too!"
