Not the IKEA that I used to knowJonI used a previous triple track curtain system from IKEA to hang curtains in my last home. That system , which was solid and easy to install and operate, had the hardware to tie the individual panels together, and attachments to hook a pull rod to. When it came time to install a track system for our new house, I convinced my wife that I’d be happy using the VIGDA triple track from IKEA. Problem #1. All of the parts were not available for shipping, and not all of the parts were not in stock at one store. One day we made a marathon IKEA run to Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando Florida stores, racking up hundeds of highway miles. Problem #2 this system is very fragile, the fabric comes out of the hanging bars at the slightest touch, including a pull from our cat. Problem 3. There is no way to attach a pull rod, there is no hardware to link the panels together, no way to adjust the panels by hand without them coming out of the hanging bars. It’s junk.1

The dimensions are horrible. You have to cut the rods to fit them. One rod is too short, three are too long, so for three windows you need 2 rods and 1/4. One is way too big for one window, and just short for 2. IKEA of course doesn’t sell the hacksaw needed to cut them so you gotta get it elsewhere, and it has to be electric otherwise you will mess up the cut.
Second, installing these is a NIGHTMARE! The rods are not flush with one another, so you cannot and will not have a smooth running glide system; rods will impede and block the movement of glide hooks!!!!! It literally does not matter what you do, they won’t fit together seamlessly.
The fasteners that attach to the ceiling are also cheap and do not inspire the most confidence.
Ikea needs to revisit the measurements and make it easier for consumers to adjust rods to their needed dimensions

Vidga Triple System - Poor designAmyI bought this to put up 2 rows of curtains (a sheer one and a thin linen one) the system rows are too close together so when you open the front the back curtains move too and get all bunched up. I thought that there would be plenty of room with leaving the middle track empty but that is not at all the case. Also, these don't come with a hook to be placed at the end, to keep the curtains from moving away from the wall when close them. Now I see all the other systems are on a "large order only" availability so I may need to go with a different brand.1

Easy High-End Look for LessEmilyLove the vidga rail! It pairs perfect with Ikea curtains and pleat hooks to give a higher end look for less. You do need two people for install, and I recommend watching YouTube videos instead of trying to follow the Ikea directions. I only wish it came in black instead of white.5
Good but need shimsGinoThe product overall is good quality and relatively simple to install, the issue I had was joining a total of X3 rails. The area where the rails met needed shims to produce a level cohesive area for the rails to freely flow. 4
Box Open and Pieces MissingAnonymous reviewerWhen my shipment arrived, the box was opened and most of the pieces were missing. I was able to get some replacement parts but the ceilings mounts were not in the box. I can’t speak to how this product performs because I don’t even have the supplies to hang it. Incredibly frustrating and super disappointing. My closest Ikea is 2 hours away so it’s not as simple as driving to the store to return :(1

If you need to connect two tracks, you will need to purchase a whole extra track just to get the ceiling fittings. Seems silly since they are advertised as being easily extendable.3
Vidga systemElinIt would be helpful if you had a Vidga tutorial or something that showed all the parts and how the system works together. I have small parts I have purchased over time and they have little or no directions on installation or what the part does. 3

Beautiful Ceiling RailAnniemy bedroom is 127.5 inch's so I bought 3 of these. It was easy enough to use a hacksaw to cut, but know that the cut won't be straight so use the piece you cut, as your end piece. If you want wall to wall curtain rail like me, remember to cut the rail a little more than your exact measurement bc the end caps do add 1/4 of an inch each.
Also, it's cheaper to buy 3 of these than 6 single curtain rails for double curtains. You don't have to use the middle rack as it'll give good space between your two curtains.5
