Lovely Panel Curtain SystemLisaI've had this system up, with a ceiling mount for about 10 years. The pieces that attach the panel curtain to the ROD broke off while sliding the curtain open. I am trying to find out if I need to purchase another panel or if there are parts for these panel curtains? I am not sure what to do?!?!!! Just and FYI, the instructions were hard to decipher, but with two heads we were able to figure it out.
Looks good when up....BUTAnneFirst of all the instructions are awful and since the system has many small and interlocking parts it is truly trial by error.
There is very little flexibility for installation especially if you want to install the wall bracket option.
You must purchase those separately and the brackets must line up with the connectors on the rail.
Also the rail only comes in 55 inches so if your area is larger you need to purchase more rails and cut to size. The attachment provided for combing rails is a joke. It is small and flimsy.
Then there's the top and bottom rail for the panels. Once again terrible instructions. The attachments are small, flimsy and have to be fastened by Allen wrenches that have to tightened this minute screws. Not easy at all.
The old rail system from Ikea was far superior than this new one. It's a shame because the panels are very pretty and lool great once you can master the many issues with installation.
