The legs of the headboard are designed to fit walls both with and without a skirting board.
The headboard is free-standing, so you don´t need to fix it to the wall.

Easy to assemble, but not exactly what I expectedSamanthaI love that it is a metal bed frame so it is sturdy and was easy to put together. The one thing that I was disappointed in is that the headboard does not attach to the actual bed frame they are freestanding, which yes it does say that in the description, but I would’ve liked it to be more clear that they do not attach.

Horrible headboard BriannaI got a full bed and the headboards are way to big for the bed. They aren’t comparable with the bed i’m not sure if it’s an error in the product. It’s annoying that I need to contact a store directly no email is given to contact customer service.
simple stable niceAnonymous reviewerWe have only had this bed for a month but it was easy to assemble and makes no noise so far. I actually love the look. Headboards are beautiful. Base is unobtrusive. We were not sure if we really wanted a king bed so decided to try this inexpensive frame with twin mattresses that we already have. King size is working out great and at this point I am planning just to keep this and not spend $3k on the wooden frame that I was looking at...
