No way to really clean; no whistle; no magic JeffReturning this on my next visit. My biggest issue is the fill hole is too small to clean it properly over time! That's a dealbreaker. Also, the whistle is just a weak and pitiful sound. You can barely hear it, and when you do you just want to put it out of its misery! I've never reviewed any IKEA product under four stars. But this one just doesn't have the yellow-blue magic. 2
Whistle Doesn't WorkMarkWe owned one of these years ago, and it worked fine. We bought one a month ago, and the whistle didn't work, so you have nothing to remind you that you have a kettle on the stove. We returned it, which took a while because we live half an hour awhile, like most people, and bought another one. This one's whistle doesn't work either! What the heck!1
Simple and effectiveGorI love this kettle. I've used many kettles in my life but this one is the one I want to keep forever. Yeah, I know, "a kettle is a kettle is a kettle" but its simple design is effective and there are no moving parts to get clogged up or break.5

The worst kettle ever!RalphThe kettle looks nice but that’s all. It feels cheap, the handle gets too hot and the whistle stopped working after a few weeks. I was looking inside to clean it and to my surprise, I saw rust all around the bottom! I wish I could share photos with you. As an advice, don’t even think about buying this thing. 1
