The light from this LED lighting strip creates a cozy atmosphere wherever you choose to place it.
The LED lighting strip is bendable, so you can easily fix it behind the TV or a bookcase.
If you do not need its entire length, you can gather excess cable by using the included touch-and-close fastening and cable clips.
You can easily make the lighting strip shorter by cutting it in the places where it is marked with a small scissors symbol.
Easy to fix in place – just remove the paper from the self-adhesive tape and stick the lighting strip where you want it.
The lighting strip has 3 different modes that you can easily change by using the button.
Press the button once to get a light that automatically changes color. If you don’t want the light to change color, press a second time when the light has the color you prefer.
If you press the button 3 times you get a soft, subdued light that changes color.
The lighting strip comes with a driver that you can connect to a power socket.

Doesn’t stick!RebaReally disappointed in the quality of these lights. We bought to use under bunk bed, as displayed in store. They started falling off same day and one of them stopped working after less than a month.

Easy to place accent lightsEsraI bought 2 of these for my daughter's room. I installed them under her IKEA loft bed. I found it that the adhesive stuck well to the metal part of the frame. In order to cover the bottom perimeter of the whole bed I had to get two. It's just not clear to me how I can connect both on one remote so that they can be synched! Any suggestions IKEA? Otherwise I love them.
DO NOT BUYLynneaI live four hours away from the nearest IKEA to me. Because I bought in store there is no way from me to return the AWFUL Vattensten lights that are peeling paint as they fall off my walls. They are falling as I am typing this and I installed them LESS THAN 8 HOURS AGO I bought four 118 '' and will spend the same amount in gas to get to the nearest IKEA and back. It is truly frustrating that there's not a mail back option, I would even be happy to cover the shipping cost at this point to get them out of my house! I would recommend going to Amazon! At least their return process is easier

Can't select a color and just leave it on that color when you turn it off/on. No white. No dimmingBrianThis is a good light if you want a color changing wheel without white. Colors are good, nice that it's wrapped in silicon.
BUT, if you want to be able to set it on RED for example and then be able to turn it off/on, but keep it on red, forget it. If you want to be able to dim the color, forget it. Returning it.
so baddie u should buy themKarenthey only have a limited amount of colors, but they have two blues, which is fire and two greens i think. they have all the basic colors, but you only have like one button on the chord that you can use to flip through the colors, it really only takes 10 seconds idk why everyone is so dramatic apt it. anyways there super good in my opinion just wish they had a remote and more colors if u don't care act that then deff buy them!!!!

Low number of LEDs, dim, and not enough trim locationsRyanI am very disappointed with this item. The price is not cheap, and the quality doesn't match. There are not enough LEDs, leading to a lighting effect that is not smooth, and has dark gaps in between the lit spots. The trimmable locations are too far apart, which meant I had to cut off more of the strip than I wanted to in order to get to my desired length. I even bought a diffuser tube to smooth out the light (Ikea does not sell these), but even that didn't solve the problem completely.

Good but MisleadingSydnieHigh quality materials, but I was misled by the idea that you can use scissors to cut up the light into segments. I read all of the information online and in the pamphlet and the instructions, and none of them said that only the piece attached to the plug-in side will light up! I wasted about 80% of my light by cutting it into segments :( it should have said this in the directions.
