The shelf unit is easy to fix in place or remove as needed since it has screw mounts.
The screw mounts have a soft surface that protects the top of the table from scratches and pressure marks.

Heads up: Only clips on to thin desktopsMary AnnThe bracket is too shallow to fit on to any but the thinnest desktop, but there is no mention of these limits on the website. In fact, in one photo it looks like it’s on a thicker traditional wood desk, but it’s not possible. Too bad. It’s a great piece.
Not wide enoughAnnaBought this as an organizer for our standing desk. Unfortunately not wide enough so check that before ordering. Doesn't open very much, would need a very thin desk ledge. It is also difficult to assemble.

A little tricky to assembleAmyThe shelf works great. It was a little tricky to attach the table brackets and L brackets.
I only installed the bottom shelf upside down, so I could have a flat surface. I then placed my Epson projector on the shelf to use for projector sewing.
Good idea but should fit the Ikea desk but don't HopeDid not fit my Ikea desk top really disappointed, really good product and idea is perfect but the product should be made wide enough to clamp on all Ikea desk tops 😒
Easy to assemble?! DebraIt sure looked easy. Just a couple of screws. I have never been beaten by an IKEA product but this one almost won🥴. There was absolutely no way to get 2 parts to stay close enough together to get such a short screw through both holes. Finally used some double stick tape and it still took me over an hour.😖😵💫. And I bought two!!!😩
I do love it now that’s done. I’m an artist and they keep my paints close at hand without taking up table space

Versatile assembly of shelves and great look!ReginaI attached these to my Lanespelare TV/monitor shelves, which worked out great because my desk did not have a deep enough lip to install the clamps to hold the shelves to the desk. Very easy to put together and very modern. Though it was more expensive than I wanted to pay, it was on sale so it worked out.

Great idea but could be betterJean-ChristopheNice little storage fixture that helps declutter the desk. Some cable management system would make it perfect for making it a charging station. Holes in the trays are to small for charging cables to pass through. Otherwise it's sturdy enough for storing desk ustencils and decorations.

Handy little shelfHeatherThis handy little shelf fits on the side of my work table replacing a stack of 4 boxes. So like I said..handy. That said I only gave 4 stars because this was not easy to put together like most projects and I have put together many IKEA pieces. When I had to redo the screw heights on the clamps I went for help.
Screws difficult to alignShainaThe product itself is great and a good idea but I had a hell of a time getting the pieces to align so I could screw them in place. Assembly took much longer than I expected
