More information

Made from enameled cast iron, which spreads heat evenly through the pan and retains the heat for a long time. This makes it ideal, for example, for slower cooking such as roasts and casseroles.
Works well on all types of cooktops, including induction.
Steam collects on the inside of the lid and drips down from the knobs. In this way the food bastes itself, which gives a succulent and tasty result.
Can also be used in the oven since it is made entirely of metal.

A Kitchen FavoriteZahraI would like to express my sincere satisfaction with its outstanding quality. It performs well in everyday cooking and delivers consistent results. Overall, it is a reliable and well-designed product. Thank you for providing good quality items.
Lovely pot, just maybe not for glass-top stovesDougI wish we could keep this pot. We're living temporarily with an apartment-size stove - only 24" wide - and thought this would be great for the scaled-down burners, which are really too small for our larger dutch ovens. The narrow, tall form factor of this pot is just right, with a smaller footprint, but still a reasonable capacity. However, the bottom of the pot is highly abrasive, and instantly scratched our old glass-top stove the first time we moved it slightly. We've used cast-iron on that stove for over 25 years, and know enough to take care sliding pots on the glass surface, but some movement is inevitable while cooking. This one is far rougher on the bottom that any others we've used - LeCreuset, Lodge, etc. If you have a glass-top stove, definitely be aware of this. The one we bought is back in the box, waiting for our next trip to Ikea so we can return it.
This is not bare cast-iron. CliffIt’s kinda confusing but these pots are cast-iron that has been enameled in a rough matte black finish inside and out. They are NOT bare cast-iron, although they look similar to the skillets. No need to oil them or cure them. Treat them like other enameled dutch-ovens and they will last forever; never heat empty and don’t use metal utensils. They are great for baking bread, stews, meats, making rice.
Excellent findMukhamedThis dutch oven not only looks artisanal and appealing but it is extremely versatile and functional!
Happy With My Cast IronStephanieJust the bottom heavy cast iron pot I was looking for! Hesitated a bit on purchasing this line of cast iron due to the issues some people had trying to get rid of food residue and other bits left behind. After washing my pot, I tried drying it with a paper towel and a 100% cotton dishcloth, but had white fluff left behind! After some research, I found that a dish brush and a microfiber towel helped greatly (nothing left behind)! So, no concerns. I do wish the pot came in a smaller size.
Awesome! Ikea, please make in 2 qt.CindyI appreciate the minimal packaging, no plastic. I have made perfect rice in this, cooked broth that never spilled.
The small foot print allows quick induction heat to affect the food evenly. easy to clean and the handles are great for big hands like my husbands'.
3qt with lidWendyStunning design
Please make a 3qt with lid exactly like this just a bit smaller for all the tiny home dwellers.
