VALLSTENA is sub-standard to the HAGGEBY surface ScottWe are landlords and for years we have outfitted our kitchens, bathrooms and closets with the SEKTION line using Haggeby door and drawer fronts because the surface can handle the abuse that renters can sometimes dish out. The VALLSTENA line is not that hardy, having a surface that is more vulnerable to hard use. Viewed side by side with the Haggeby surface reveals that they are not alike. Haggeby surface is hard and smooth and repels water. VALLSTENA is soft with a flatish sheen and smudges make them more difficult to keep clean. One cannot use them both together side by side without noticing the visual difference. That is why one must use one or the other and why IKEA has removed the Haggeby's from their shelves. It is unfortunate the superior product has been cleared from inventory.
Close to perfect but not quite thereJoeShort version, purchased 3 wall cabinets and a counter top for a laundry room remodel. Countertop is incredible. Cabinets are very good reasonably easy to install. The only downside is that I could not line up the door of one of the cabinets to be in perfect alignment to the others. 3 doors adjusted as far as possible and lined up perfectly. The last one adjusted as far as it goes and still a slightly off. A bit frustrating since I purchased the most expensive door you sell and could not get it perfect. But as I say everything else looks great.

Solid and durable TedA good product that is strong and durable. It has a nice laminated finish that is easy to clean and doesn’t “melt” from household cleaning sprays.

Beautiful cabinets for my kitchen remodelDianeI was able to work with two IKEA designers and their help was invaluable in selecting the exact products I needed for my small kitchen. The products were delivered as promised and except for one small mishap (damaged product in shipping), everything was ready for the installers. The suggested installers (ZAC of All Cabinets) were very helpful regarding the whole process. Everything was completed in a matter of hours as promised. The cabinets and drawers are working out better than I had hoped.
