HorribleDianaI will try the exchange, because we had this delivered. We bought the Queen Medium firm and it is nothing like the one we bought in 2019, that one was comfortable and lasted. With this one you will sink into the middle of the mattress, we have only had it two weeks, just horrible; I'm in pain every morning. They know this is an issue and it needs removed from inventory. I have always loved Ikea products, but this may have changed my mind. Let's see how this exchange goes.1

Please also note that the advertised mattress exchange option does not actually work as one might expect: you cannot arrange an exchange through delivery. You have to bring the mattress to a local IKEA store yourself, which is physically impossible for me (there is a reason I paid $60 to have the mattress delivered to my home in the first place). The only alternative is to return it and buy a new mattress, paying the delivery fee all over again. I suppose I’ll just buy my next mattress somewhere else.1

My toddler almost fell backwards a few times when the edge dipped down significantly and he’s only 20lbs! We have the medium firm. The firm one gave us backaches.3
Backaches, Return was a frustrating experienceShirleyTried the mattress in store and decided on a firm. The one we received was A LOT firmer. We had to exchange before the 90 days were up. I called customer service to initiate the process and the rep said she opened a ticket for the closest store to call me. They never called. After a week, I called the store directly, and operator said someone will call me. Yet no one called again. I called the general customer service again and found out they could have initiated the process for me the first time… the first rep was incompetent and wasted my time. Any way, I wasn’t able to do an immediate exchange. I had to wait for my mattress to be picked up, evaluated, then store credit to be issued. All in all, I was without a mattress for more than two weeks and wasted almost a months time to get it all sorted. Do not buy their mattress unless you have the means to drive it back yourself if it doesn’t work out.2
