I was concerned about potential bacteria growth in the pores if water was able to come through so easily so back to the store fore these. 2

More colors pleaseRobertThe bowls appear to be well made and are at a good price point. However, it would be nice to have multiple color options in each size bowl. The small is too small for our 2nd dog. We like to have 2 different color bowls for our dogs, as one is older and requires a special diet. Having more colors to choose from in each size would allow us to purchase 2 bowls of the medium size and not mix up the food for our pets.4
Happy houndMoWe have a skittish dog with a weak appetite - he's even refused to eat before because of the dish we were using. We're so happy that he's fully accepted using these for both water and food. For reference, we feed four cups of kibble per meal (he's a very big dog) and it fits fine in the 7.5in bowl. The bowls are cute, hardy, and I'm pretty sure you couldn't find anything cheaper. Thanks Ikea <35

I saw these ceramic pet food bowls and couldn't believe the price! I bought 2. They were packaged so well that it would have been impossible to break them during shipping. I bought the 7.5-inch size. That size is good for a mid-sized dog but I got the bowls in that size because the weight would make it harder for my cat to knock over. They are heavy duty and so far, my cat hasn't been able to push them over. You can't beat the price for that kind of quality.5
