Not a fan of this one RebeccaThis is one of the very few IKEA purchases I regret. Normally I would return but it doesn’t feel right to return a dog bed that won’t be able to be re-sold.
The design of the bed is totally impractical. I didn’t realize it was just going to be a pancake-like pillow that sits atop a thin sheet of fabric. There needs to be a zipper or snaps, something to attach the two pieces.
Don’t bother if you have a large dog. Not only are the bolsters under stuffed and completely lacking any support for the animal, but they can’t even rest or lean onto the sides/bolsters without ending up with their body on the hard ground. Because the center pad is completely unattached and every time the dog moves the center ends up pushed to one side of the bed, leaving the dog on the floor between one side and the center pad. Why buy a dog bed so your dog can lay in the ground?
Really scratching my head on this design. I can’t imagine a scenario where this would work well for any dog. 2
Plush Dog Bed good for the office IrenePerfect for my small dog. She gets to stretch out a bit instead being curled up on the small one. she loves putting her head on the edge and looking at what's going on.5
