Too wide for the railingsNatellaJust like everyone else mentioned, not the best fit! I had no choice but buy this one to improve storage in my existing IKEA kitchen (20 years old). The baskets from before had much better fit. After so many bad reviews one would think that IKEA would fix it! I guess not. So, we had to use just the back and front screws to make it somewhat work. Doesn’t slide well but we decided to live with it. Tried to bend the neck of the basket but didn’t work. The issue is the basket is a bit wider than the cab/railings.
disappointed...VERY DISAPPOINTEDDianaBaskets are a hit and miss. I purchased 4 for a cabinet . 2 of the 4 are a fail. Worse is that the side hole on the base are now stripped. So when I change to a drawer system, I will have to struggle to make the proper adjustments.
Measurements not correct RohitI got the 15x24 , and the width is only 13 inch across , 2 inches difference is huge discrepancy in the description. I hope this is corrected . Its a waste of time and money if descriptions and measurements are this off
Doesn’t fit. Anonymous reviewerThe measurements say that this basket is 18”. But, when I got the baskets, they were 16 1/4 inches. The difference of two inches is really big. Not sure why they are packaged this way and why there isn’t a size that will fit my cabinets. I purchased baskets in the past and they fit perfectly. Was the cabinet design changed? I am really frustrated because now I need to make a second trip to return a second set of baskets that I’d hope would fit. That was my bad. Grateful that I can return the items but very disappointed in the quality control. I mistakenly thought 18” was 18”. Silly me.
BEWARE!! Does not fit - unless you cut it downStaceyThe idea is excellent; however, I spent several hours fixing this issue. These baskets do not fit as sold.
If you have tried to fit these baskets following the directions, it's not you; it's them.
If you remove the washers from the inside of the rollers, then they "mostly" fit. On some baskets, I had to cut 1mm off each roller rod to get them to clear.
It's not a project for someone without a healthy dose of mechanical knowledge and the tools to cut metal accurately.
I did it because I was out of time and had to make these work.
Ikea should refund everyone who they stuck with these.
If you factor in your time, Ikea cabinets are more expensive than custom cabinets.

This one is a miss. NancyWe have experienced the same issues that other reviews have noted, when installing according to the directions, the wheels will not roll and start to scrape the side of the brackets. When taking the plastic shims out (even just one shim out), the basket won't stay on the track. With the attention to detail in other ikea kitchen accessories and cabinet add-ons, this one is a real disappointment. We'll find something else to use in it's place but it either won't be what we were planning for this space or we'll have to spend double/triple through another company. Engineers need to take another look at this item and rework it so that it is up to the standards that we expect from Ikea products.

Poor engineering, but solvableBritneyLike others have said, we had the same issue with the plastic rails- they put too much tension on the basket at the back and they wouldn’t roll, but without the plastic rails, the front of the basket is prone to falling off the rails. We ended up cutting the plastic rail and using only about 3” of the front of the rail. Suddenly, everything fits and glides perfectly. I’m not sure why we were able to troubleshoot this clearly ineffective design while IKEA engineers couldn’t. We shouldn’t have to modify products that have complaints going back a few years.
Wont fit on roller properlyDanielThe back wheels scrape the metal and do not roll when installed with spacers as per instruction. When I removed one spacer to make more space the rollers in the front are to far apart and one side wont sit properly while the back rollers were still tight. Overall probably the worst product I've ever purchased from Ikea. Will just replace with shelves. On the other hand their regular drawers are amazing, need to get whoever designed them to revamp these things.
Great Baskets!ChristinaI purchased these about 5 years after I installed my kitchen. Love these! I use them currently for holding pots and pans and they are sturdy enough.

Not the stated size.Anonymous reviewerThese are not 18". My cabinet is exactly 18" wide. The basket is 15". Not even the plastic spacer can make up for a THREE INCH DIFFERENCE. Whoever writes product descriptions needs to be much clearer, as this is the second set of drawers that I've bought from ikea and needed to replace because of this exact issue (size not as written)
Poor DesignJeffThe worst Ikea product that I have purchased. Recently installing sektion cabinets in 3 areas in my home with many cabinets and drawers, including drawers that fit inside other drawers, etc. Everything has been great aside from this item. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews, as they are spot on for 1-Star. It appears as though there has been a product revision at some point where there are spacers included in the 24 inch wide version. These spacers go between the cabinet and the slide. With the spacers installed the wire basket will not slide. I had to remove a spacer from 1 side in order to get it to function at all on the first drawer, and both shims on the 2nd drawer. As stated in other reviews, the front roller does an inadequate job of keeping the wire basket in place once you have it "installed". Ikea needs to re-think this design. I will likely be removing these. These were put below a "fixed shelf so the cibinet spacing was spot on for width. Dont buy.

Poor QualityAnonymous reviewerPurchased 4 of these for a pantry cabinet. Instructions seem to indicate plastic spacers are required, though after install it seems obvious that they are not and are only included to accomodate imprecise sized baskets. The baskets are not consistently sized/shaped. One of my 4 baskets scrapes the sides as it goes in and out regardless of which of the 4 glide positions it's installed on (using none of the plastic spacers). One of mine is not square so without a significant amount of weighted items in the basket, it does not sit flat in the glides. As other's stated the open wheel which the wire edge sits in is easy for the basket to jump out of, especially with little weight, or if the basket is not perfectly shaped. This all may be part of using bendable wire construction which makes these inexpensive, and able to see through. I would rather pay the significant difference for the superior quality maximera drawers.
