Enjoy the super comfy UPPLAND sofa with embracing feel and deep seat cushions made of pocket springs, high resilience foam and polyester fibers, adding both firm support and relaxing softness.
Reversible back cushions provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear. Thanks to the combination of polyester fibers and cut foam the cushions will retain their shape and comfort year after year.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.
A range of coordinated covers makes it easy for you to give your furniture a new look.

Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Gray/green is actually blue.JasonThe sofa itself is fine. Very comfortable. But the gray/green slipcover looks NOTHING like what's shown on the website. It does look muted green online. However, in person, it's BLUE. There's nothing green about it. I don't have a truck, so I have no way of returning it. I'll just have to buy a different slipcover.
Uppland sofaSarahThis sofa is comfortable for sitting or napping. However when I looked on Ikea to see if I could get a darker cover, the reviews on covers were very mixed. I wanted dark green or brown but there is no brown and the green covers are reported not to fit!! How does that work??
SmellBenSofa has had a sour smell to it since I got it. Figured it was just off gassing and would go away, after 3 months of owning it and washing the covers the smell still persists

Uppland perfect for home or rental property.JenniferWe recently purchased an Uppland sofa and two armchairs for a rental property and have been delighted with them. My husband said the sofa is great for napping. We have other Ikea furniture at home and I love that it is so easy to wash and/or replace the covers when necessary.
Dimensions are wrongJenniferThe seat is not 18.5” from floor to surface, it’s 21”. I’ve had several ikea couches and this is awful - hard to assemble and different from the store model.
Comfy!SusanLove this sofa! Very comfortable, looks great. I only wish they tacked the corner flap down because no amount of clipping or pressing keeps it down. I had to finally tack them and it wasn't easy to sew through
Uppland Sofa - Kilanda light beigeKatieOk, I love the sofa itself but do not love the cover. The fabric is a little shiny and makes it look dirty all the time. I'm constantly washing it. Glad I can take everything off to wash. I guess I'll be buying a different cover at some point.

I really have no idea what the negative reviews are on about, so if you are on the fence, trust me, it's amazing!!! (I went with the cotton cover because I hate poly and it's so nice!)
Poor slipcoversAliceI have the previous version of IKEA sofa the Ektorp The covers were indestructible. I have had dogs and stains came out and they did not snag. I preferred the size of the older version as well. I purchased an additional love seat and had to buy the Uppland. The new slipcovers for the Uppland are terrible. The are scratchy and uncomfortable. The dogs have snagged the cushions too. I ordered an extra cover and the newer fabric is even worse than the original. I would not purchase this sofa due to the quality of the slipcovers. I will have to purchase a slipcover from somewhere else as these are junk and make the couch unusable.

High, firm and comfortable couchJeffRelatively firm, comfortable couch! The biggest caveat: try this out in the showroom first, as this sofa sits quite a bit higher than others! It's a high enough seating position that frankly, it's not going to work well for everyone. I love it. I'll admit, I mostly use mine for naps! So I'm often stretched out across it, rather than properly seated in it. And the extra height somehow accommodates napping.... don't ask me to explain it.
I was able to unload and drag/carry the main box into my house by myself. Assembly was straightforward and easy to follow in the included instructions. I'm really picky about loose/wobbly furniture, and this sofa is very solid. Appearance/feel is of something more expensive than what you pay.
I'm very happy with the Hakebo Gray color; it coordinates with almost anything. Nice bonus: it's extra tall and roomy UNDER the sofa, and my dog loves scooching under there and napping. We nap a lot in this house lol. Recommended!
Durable and Comfortable!MichelleWe bought an Uppland sofa and loveseat after the sofa and loveseat (from a different store) we bought just a year prior started falling apart and losing support. We moved the previous furniture to the basement, and have had our Uppland furniture in the living room for about 3 years now. The cushions are still in good condition-not misshapen, the fabric cover is easy to spot clean. Two of my boys (who spend a lot of time in the downstairs rec room) have completely removed the back cushions from the "other" sofa and loveseat because they are so lacking in support. For some reason, I thought the Uppland line was discontinued, but so thankful to see it is still available! We'll be putting our current living room furniture downstairs and replacing it with a new Uppland sofa and loveseat!
Classy and comfortableAliceI’m in college and on a budget. This couch is beautiful and doesn’t look cheap, which was something I worried about. The quality is great as well. The fabric is very nice when you get the white couch (100% cotton). It is also very comfortable (I personally don’t like it when I sit down on a couch and I sink into it deeply). I do wish this couch was a bit deeper, however, for my first couch it’s amazing. I definitely recommend it as a short term sofa!!!
DissatisfiedEmilyThis couch wasn't delivered after the money already came out of my account. Even though the cover showed up without the frame. BE AWARE!!! When ordering sometimes it's out of stock and they won't tell you until the shipment doesn't show up. Then it will take 7-14 days for them to return your money! Very sad about the shipment process.
Great Couch!AmandaI bought this couch for my small apartment and on a tight budget. I was a little worried that I had to put it together, but it was so easy and took maybe 10 minutes? Seriously, it was not a big deal. The covers go in super easy too and the finished product is beautiful. The cushions are a little stiff but have been breaking in over time. I love my UPPLAND couch! I loved the price too. 😉
