With this salad spinner you can easily dry your wet salad.
In the kitchen sink, rinse the salad in the basket and then put the basket in the spinner and turn it around with the handle. The excess water ends up in the bowl and your salad is no longer wet.

Don’t do itMeaganGenuinely one of the worst kitchen gadgets I have ever purchased. I love IKEA and buy as much stuff as I can from there especially because of things that are affordable priced like this salad spinner. I purchased this after moving since I needed a new one and I have never been more disappointed in an IKEA product. It’s difficult to use, I can only use it for a few seconds before I need to remove the lib and recenter the basket no matter what I’m spinning or how much. It also is not ergonomically designed at all and often hurts my hands.

Is this broken?DanaI don't know if mine is defective? But it's very hard to spin, especially if you load it with some food and then it spins for a little while and seems to get stuck. This is probably one of the worst ikea products i've bought. Spend $4 more dollars and get a decent one somewhere else.
Actually, from reading, the less than stellar reviews, this seems to be pretty common complaint and it's just not something I want to work with. Returned

Good Economical Salad SpinnerBarbaraThe salad spinner actually gets more water out of the lettuce than my OXO spinner did. If it breaks it’s also much more economical to replace. In my experience the more expensive brands break very easily so buying IKEA’s salad spinner is a no brainer.
