With this salad spinner you can easily dry your wet salad.

Good Economical Salad SpinnerBarbaraThe salad spinner actually gets more water out of the lettuce than my OXO spinner did. If it breaks it’s also much more economical to replace. In my experience the more expensive brands break very easily so buying IKEA’s salad spinner is a no brainer.

Broke after first useMeganI loved this spinner but unfortunately the basket broke after one use. The plastic basket inside was incredibly brittle and split on the bottom. Love the look of the product but wish it was sturdier and better quality.

Affordable decent salad spinnerAlanWorks about 85% of the time. Sometimes the lod doesn't get seated properly and the spinner locks up, and can't spin. That means you need to take the lod off and place it back on and hopes it is centered correctly.

Nice Size!LynnHave a large OXO and this one was better for me at this time of life. Got and tried it out, no issues like I had read on some reviews. Yes, you have to make sure the inside (mesh) bowl is 'seated' properly to spin. However, I am returning and my issue was not mentioned as I saw in any reviews. I like to shred my carrots, placing all veggies into the bowl w/ cold water sitting it in the fridge for an hour or so, then spin out the water. Shredded carrots, small cuts of celery, some cabbage, sliced radish & mushrooms escaped in between the mesh and the solid bowls. I'll have to pay more but will buy the smaller version of the OXO one because the 'mesh' bowl is better designed to hold smaller cuts and shredded veggies in it.
These are the bestCharlotteI first bought this many years ago. I actually bought 10 of them. Over the years I’ve included them in gifts for friends. Of course keeping one for myself. I had a friend recently ask me to pick one up for her second home after telling me the one she picked up at the local grocery store just didn’t dry her salad as well as the one I had gifted her. So I picked up a few more on my latest trip to IKEA.
