Handheld zesterMelissaI was looking for one with a handle . Couldn't find the wooden one that was displayed at one of the kitchen setups. Other than that, the one I purchased will be adequate.
Why did I wait so long to get this!JudyI've used this for cheeses and spices. I saw my son use his and I am so glad I purchased one. It's saved me time and been a great help.
Easy to use and cleanStaceyUse for our hard cheese and makes quick work for grating garlic. Great value!
Can’t actually zest!AkiraThe way this zester is designed makes it nearly impossible to actually zest anything. I had to manually press all of the cutting edges down before it would “work” at all, and it still was barely functional. It may have been cheap but it wasn’t worth it.
Mini graterCindyLove this mini grater. It’s super sharp.
ZestyTheresaReal handy, easy to handle, takes up no space, great.
Great Microplane!AndreaI love that it has a cover that stays in place in the drawer so that my fingers don't get microplaned reaching in. It works as good or better than the microplane I have had for decades but that is bigger and exposed
Compact but at too great a costHyejeanI'd bought this for its compact size and safety cover. But as others have noted, the dual orientation of the blades make this really difficult to use w/o a handle. I assume the two sides are so that left-handed folks can use this, too, but it creates too small a grating surface. Also, compared to a Microplane, this zests citrus in short and thick chunks rather than light feathery wisps. Might be good for some use cases, but not at the cost of my knuckles! Sad to have to return this.
Great FindDaniUse it almost every day! Creat for Parmesan cheese
Horrible productAndrewHorribly designed product with the orientation of the blades. And the blades are dull enough that trying to grate parmesean (you know, like in the picture on the product's page) it is more likely to slip rather than grate. Which is very dangerous, as it then hits your knuckles, or you hand slips down where the blades are. Avoid at all costs.
GoodMariaIs very good and good materials
Great graterKayCompact and the safety shield fits nicely.
Great graterSharonWorks well for making lemon zest and also good for grating ginger. I appreciate the cover on it also.
Absolutely great EduardoI like that it comes with the safety cover, especially because it's very sharp. Great for zesting quickly. Use with caution. It is very sharp.
Useful SolSmall and powerful
Cheese 🤤JohnGreat little grater that does take up much room.
Fantastic value zester!BomcholEasy to clean and I really appreciate the slide on cover. It works great and has become very useful.
It's all wrongDavideIt's short, too short. That wouldn't have been an issue if the blases were all in the same direction, or even if the blades were facing inward toward the centrer of the grater, but instead they face outward to the extremities and that makes it un-ergonomic when combined with thet limited length of the item.
Holes are oriented backwardsJamesThe grate holes have the wrong orientation. They should allow you to drag towards the outside. Pushing towards the center is unstable.
