The handle makes it easy for you to move the air purifier between different rooms in your home and place it where it is needed most.
Lay it down on a shelf or set it upright on a table – the air purifier can be placed easily and discreetly in different ways throughout your home.
The air purifier has 3 fan speeds so you can adapt it to your home’s needs and affect the noise level as well. If you’re a light sleeper, choose the lowest fan speed with a low noise level during the night.
Our air purifiers are AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) certified. This means that all air purifiers from IKEA are thoroughly tested to ensure efficiency in the disposal of harmful allergens like tobacco smoke, dust and pollen.

Affordable Quality Air FiltrationAnthonyThe Uppatvind is a great addition for a bedroom or small-medium open floor room at a great price. It's multi-placement and minimalist design helps it fade away, while it remains minimally noisy when on low. The best part about it and why I bought more again is that it retains its mode (1-3) even after power loss, so you can use a smart plug to automate on/off at a set mode level. Great for automatically turning it on in the morning to freshen the air, and when I'm away from home.

Just wow!JOk so, I made a trip to ikea last week. I purchased this air purifier and what a great buy! It purifies the air and keeps me cool at night. As a night sweater this has been essential for keeping me cool without freezing me out (fan speed is adjustable). My room is less dusty, we are sneezing less and sleeping better. You will not regret buying this, if you feel you need it-- buy it.

Works better than expectedAlanUppatvind. The best air filter purifier I have tried. The design is down right elegant. The most impressive feature is its power. One the highest level three it will "inhale" dust, smoke, anything. I smoke in the garage intentionally near it while on and the air afterwards does not have a hint of tobacco odor. And replacement filters are very reasonably priced.
Functional air purifier for kitchenJaneThis UPPATVIND air purifier is used in the kitchen when I am cooking. It sucks up smoke well and keeps kitchen air clean. The portable feature makes it easy to transport (in the kitchen). It is easy to operate, one push to turn on, two to Speed One (low speed), three to Speed Two (high speed). I also purchased one spare filter in case it is time to replace the old one. Overall, it performs the function I planned to do and am very happy about the product.
Quiet but hate the indicator lightDevinI just purchased this small air purifier for my studio apartment. The air purifier functionally works great, but wow do I hate the light on it. It gets brighter depending on the fan speed. Awful for bedrooms I had to cover the light with tape. Which you know for the price isn't too bad I still think it's worth buying because it is an easy fix and most electronics have annoying lights on them these days.

Couple of FlawsAnonymous reviewerThis just did not seem to do a great job of cleaning the air in our very small bedroom, not enough air moving through it. Weak fan. Also filters seemed impossible to find. Our local IKEA always out of stock for this. They should have used an off the shelf filter for this. A washable filter would have been even better. The power light that increases with the fan speed was a very bad choice, looks like a projector on ceiling, could not sleep with this on without covering light with a coin. It got returned.
great for small roomsRebeccaI use this in my bedroom to keep the air clean since I have allergies and it really helps. My only peeve is that the light on it is so bright that if you need complete darkness, you will be annoyed with it. However, I just removed the nightlight I used to have in the bedroom, and this replaces it.
Changing the filter is very easy and the filters are inexpensive. Planning to buy another 2 of these for the bathrooms where the cat litter boxes leave a lot of dust.
Fresh air fastKimberlyI bought this to use in a hotel room and now use it in my room at home. I noticed a difference in my allergies when I am using it.
2 out of 3 workMeganPurchased three for our bedrooms. Out of the box two seem to be working perfectly. The third will not run, every time I turn it on the red filter light comes on and the motor stops. Have tried removing and reinserting the filter and resetting the filter button but nothing. The fan is also making a weird scraping noise for the couple of seconds that it does run, which the other two did not. Really frustrating to have to drive back to IKEA to get a brand new one that may or may not work!
Good air purifier and nice designShidehThis air purifier works well. I have it in my kitchen. Love the design - it is light, easily portable if I want to use in another room, and fits easily in many spaces. Was also very easy to set up - comes fully assembled. You just have to remove the plastic around the filter. The filter comes with cleaning instructions and Ikea also sells replacement filters. Thought the price was great.
Faulty DeviceJayIt only works some of the time. Though the light indicator is on and changes based on button press, the device does not always turn on.

Finally! An affordable purifierDavidI've been looking at various air purifiers and found this in store. Wasn't sure how it would do, but I was pleasantly surprised! I also bought 2 additional filters while in the store, along with the unit. Not sure how long they will last but it does have an indicator light when to change the filter. Filter fits snugly and doesn't allow air to bypass it. 3 fan settings (High, Med, Low) and fan does provide great air flow.

Great value, quiet, clean airRoxannaI have 2 of these now because my first trial worked so well. I haven’t seen air filters of this size at this value. Clean air is underrated, so the fact I can run one of these bedside at such a quiet volume you barely notice it, I am thrilled these are under $50. Replacement filters are under $10, please tell me a better deal out there (because if there is one for air filters I need to know).
