Outstanding valueJohnI love this vacuum flask so much, I bought another one. I know the instructions say to wash it by hand, but I stick it in the dishwasher and run it on quick wash. I put the lid on the top rack with the rubber seal facing up and the hole opened so the dishwasher water can drain from it properly. I've never had the slightest problem. I rinse it again after taking it out of the dishwasher just to make sure there's no detergent residue. Works like a charm.
This vacuum flask keeps my cold drinks cold for hours. I usually use it for just ice water but occasionally for other iced drinks. It's just the perfect size, too. And the exterior's slightly rough texture makes it easy to hold.
Can’t clean lid. It collects mold.MelanieIt is so sad that you can’t properly clean the lid because it is a great flask otherwise. It keeps things hot for a long time. But it seems impossible to clean the inside of the lid which gets moldy and unusable. You can actually see mold coming out of it when trying to spray through the mouth opening to clean it. I wish that IKEA showed how to disassemble it to clean it or at least sold replacement lids. I’m sad that I can’t use it now and I don’t want to purchase another because it will eventually have the same issue. Disassembly is an issue that should be considered. Thanks for reading the review.

love this mugKevinI know some had said its not easy to clean, but its not that hard, I throw it in the dishwasher, but I boil the black lid in wash to get rid of any washer soap left over after washing it, I have not had any issues with it .
Difficult to Clean RaseedahI love this travel mug...it doesn't leak (I shake it to mix my creamer), fits cup holders perfectly, open/clean button works everytime. The issue is now I have to throw it away. Water gets trap in the cover and no way to clean it. I usually shake out the water, but now black mold is coming out and that's the same passage the coffee comes through. So disappointed about this.
Solid but plastic feelHariBottle is solid, but top cap has a pure plastic feel because the yellow button appears to be loose always. If that's a bit tight with better support spring to stabilize it, it will be perfect.
Nearly perfect, but uncleanable?GregoryGood stuff: Great size; fits cup holders and accommodates a large coffee. Looks absolutely great. Sealing mechanism actually works; beats most competition.
Really bad stuff: Lid seems to be impossible to disassemble. Lid includes a large void where you sip the beverage from, and this void cannot be accessed with a brush or direct spray of water, etc... because it only has small access holes. So if you drink anything other than black tea or coffee from this, it will get disgusting quickly. IKEA, *please* share any tips on cleaning inside the *lid* of this flask?! Is there a way to non-destructively disassemble the top?

Excellent productJohnI had purchased a larger flask, but it wouldn't fit in my car's cup holder. I should've bought this one to begin with even though it doesn't hold as much. It keeps my ice water icy cold even overnight. I love how it looks, too (my school colors).

Lid retains water, but a nice travel mug besides that.JonThere doesn't seem to be a way to take the lid completely apart so water / soap / etc. stay in there and never completely dry out. Really too bad since the insulated part works really well and the size is perfect for smaller cup holders (the diameter is slightly larger than an aluminum can).

The idea with UNDERSÖKA vacuum flask is to be able to drink directly from it and open and close it with one hand. The FÖRSKAFFA lunchbox is perhaps more planned and takes longer to prepare, yet it functions are still simple and reliable. I hope the products promote a mobile and flexible life – and make good companions when you’re on the go.
