Beware hanging it close to a wallPeterIf you mount it close to an intersecting wall you won’t be able to insert the pin on that side. I made that mistake and now one side of the shelf is not secure, but I hope it stays in place. 5
Heavy KamalI felt disappointed when I installed properly suddenly my cat got on it and it didn’t last one min and fall down even though I installed it very very good and I felt it myself that the shelf is super heavy than the way it supposed to be and there’s no enough holder for it except the the bar which came with it but it’s not enough. That’s alright 1

Best looking modern shelfBennyI was looking for a floating shelf that is deeper yet not so classic ikea looking when i stumbled upon this one. It has an easy to install full length modern looking bracket and the actual shelf is easy to attach. The only gripe I had was the metal was a little soft so if you don't carefully pick one out, the top portion of the metal lip may look wavy. I had to tap it down before inserting the board into the bracket. Otherwise, it looks sleep and much deeper than most offered.4

This shelf is incredibly sturdy considering how thin the actual shelf part is. I am able to set ~20 books on it without it feeling unstable.
