convenient TerryIdeal for crafting cutting fabric etc. I like the versatility to be able to go from standing to sitting if need be. My only suggestion would be to make a shallow drawer available. I add one 30'' wide and shallow 2 1/5'' 9'' deep for rulers that I use for cutting. Had to do quite a bit of searching before finding one that would work
Works as expected JillI had a mechanical table before and the mechanism broke. This one is simple and easy to manipulate. Just be patient when you twirl the rod yo go up and down. Great value and practical.

Adjustable frame for tableMaryThis is a dream come true. I quilt so I work with large size material. This table is perfect for multiple levels in height. I'm not a tall person. So I adjust for cutting height for me then if working with large sizes of fabric I can have another table next to it and keep both table at same height.

You don't need superstrength to use this deskMarionI spent months agonizing over what kind of sit/stand desk to buy/ I'll admit to being seduced by presets as my spouse and I both work from home and sometimes hot desk it at home. However, he convinced me of the advantages of keeping it simple and going for a crank desk. I went to an Ikea showroom to turn a crank, and while it does take a minute to get it right, it doesn't take superstrength.
We've had our two height-adjustable Trottens for a few weeks, and they're holding up well. They glide up and down smoothly and manage the weight.
I'm glad we didn't get something that's wasting electricity 24/7 and will probably breakdown in a couple of years. (Even the best desk companies don't offer much in terms of long-term guarantees.)
We managed to put the two of them together without paying for assembly, but it is a two person job.
It's lower in price than comparable crank desks and the quality is fine. Sure it's minimalistic, but that's not a bad thing.

Great tableKarenI purchased this to use as a sewing table and it's great. I can set it at the height I prefer for sewing or serging. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble when I sew.
Manual crank sit/stand desk!LeslieI love this desk, and it wasn't too hard to put together! Quick pickup was outstanding at IKEA, they loaded the box into my car, all I did was order it on line after checking it out in store of course. I set it and forget it, just walk up to the desk all set at the height I like. No cord, as it's not electric. :)

Love my adjustable table!AileenI'm very happy with my adjustable table! I can quickly set it to just the right height for any task. The frame was understandably heavy, but easy to assemble. It works great, rising and lowering very smoothly.
