Great desk size, but quality was not what I expectedAdryunneI bought this in March of 2024 and a few months ago I noticed a few cracks on the top of the desk where my laptop sat. I purchased a third monitor holder w/ drawer that day and it has been on there since. We are now moving and I have cleaned off my desk again to prepare for the move and noticed that it is continuing to crack in different areas. I will be looking to purchase another desk, but will likely not go with a Trotten next purchase.
Good basic desk topAkiraThis is for my son's desk, so I was glad to find a value option at Ikea. No complaint. Nice light color, decent weight to the top. Attached solidly to the legs.
Great size but strange color and materialVanessaI am a regular IKEA customer and most of the time I am very pleased with the purchases I made. Unfortunately not so this time. Altough the size of the table is good, the color of the table is not beige, it is more a grey-beige and does not really look like than shown on the product photos. As beige, I would really expect a real beige. I also do not like the material, I expected a more wooden texture which it is not and you can see your fingerprints all over after touching the surface. If I would order again, I would not choose this desk again.
Does not work on the MITTBACK TrestleStaciAlthough this TROTTEN table top is very sturdy, I had to return it because it was not compatible with the MITTBACK trestle I ordered with it. I went back to see where I missed this important detail, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Great desk for crafting LyndaI love that I can stand or sit, depending on what I am doing. For pinning or cutting a pattern I us it in the up position. For painting or puzzles, I use it in the lower position. Easy to clean and no wires!

decent solid table topCoreyusing it as a shelf top to a pair of old kallax 4x2 cubes, its certainly still enough between the shelves, since near 31" is supported, with the remaining roughly 35" seems to solid enough to remain sag free.
Great table topMariaI bought this to use as a table/shelf over my washer and dryer using invisible shelf brackets to mount it to the wall. It looks great!
