Best height adjustable desk!!!DeborahI love this desk so much that I bought a second one for my craft room. Takes so much strain off of my back, especially cutting fabric.
Handle breaks quickly CaiteeI am surprised there are not more poor reviews on this item. If you look at the under frame listed under 40507342 there are more mentions of this issue. I’ve owned this for 3 months and about a month into use the handle broke apart. I can manually push it back together but it comes apart often, typically with every turn of the crank and it takes many cranks to raise/lower the desk. I change the height daily, but I still think it should stand up to regular use. IKEA is sending me a new handle, but it sounds like this might quickly become an issue again. Be aware and it might be worth it to buy one that has an electric mechanism. If you don’t plan to raise/lower it often, it might be okay.

Great work tableJulieI have only had the table set up for a week, but have used it to do a couple of craft projects. So nice that it raises up and can stand and work comfortably. So far I love it.
Happy/DisappointedNoemiSetup was approximately 2 hours (alone). Once I was done I was so disappointed to see some chipped paint and a poor finish on my BRAND NEW white desk! I have other IKEA products and the top layer is so thick and smooth but with the Trotten White Top - you can see it's one/two coats of finish. You can clearly see the underneath color in some spots. It looks cheap and my other Ikea products don't have that cheap look. It's also a rough table top surface. NOT smooth. The handle for the up/down broke up the end piece before I could fully install. I felt like I grabbed two defective products for $400 and my only way to fix would be to disassemble the whole thing and drive to another state to return it. I only purchased this last minute because my Idagen desk stopped working after 5 years and I could not fix. I did not have a receipt and I ended up having to buy a last minute replacement. I'm happy I have a desk but I am disappointed in this purchase and in Ikea.

Brace in the middle is uncomfortableJacquelineUnder the desk there is a brace right in the middle. Unfortunally my knees always end up against it and it ends up being very uncomfortable.
I also don't like the material, it feels like cheap particle board.
WobblyYoungjinI took care assembling this product, but it ends of being wobbly. A little pressure on top makes it leaning. Am I the only person having this?

AVOID THIS PRODUCTLukeIkea sit/stand desks are notoriously unreliable and will stop working after a frustratingly short period of time. Ikea does not stand by the quality of their products and will offer minimal support to correct the inevitable issues that arise from purchasing their shoddy products. I strongly advise shopping elsewhere.

Perfect craft table!LisaI have an electric standing desk in my office, but was interested in the size and flexibility of this option for my craft room.
