Beautiful But Does Not Hold UpTrinaI love the look of these in my home childcare but they do not hold up. They get easy dings and chips (within first few months) and they plastic slides do not hold up with the buckets. They tilt out. The issue, in my opinion, is that there is only one screw holding each up and there should be one on each end of the plastic slide that holds the buckets. They are trying to keep building it and costs down but the older trofasts that were white were built much better in regards to this, the old ones were not as sturdy. The natural wood ones hold up far better as the grooves are built into the wood. My only issue with those is they are not as aesthetically pleasing. My other issue is they change the bucket colors every couple years so if you have a color for your space it's hard to replace it if you wait too long. I often buy a bunch upfront and that is a bit much. I would love this if they fixed the design flaws.2
Love for toys and crafts…JennyPerfect for play sets and miniatures. Has held up well and I love these bins!5
Plastic holders fall out/breakTatianaThe plastic holders that slide the containers are cheaply made and break easily. Waste of money. 2
Versatile Storage PieceKristinI’d initially purchased two of these and a trofast wall cabinet for craft and playroom storage. Once we outgrew that stage, I moved it into the garage and I have power tools stored in them. It is so nice to have these bulky items organized and put away neatly. Trofast and my label maker for the win.
I have each tool in a separate bin with its accompanying item (sand paper in with the palm sander, drill bits in with the drill and impact driver, etc.). Some of these items are fairly heavy (i.e., circular saw, extra blades, blades for my miter saw, etc.) and I’ve not had any issues with the tracks breaking.5
Great addition to my child's playroom!ChelseaI don't seem to have the support issues that are mentioned in other reviews. For example, my child keeps all of her many FP Little People in one of the bottom large bins and she slides the bin in and out without a problem. We have 5 of these in our playroom for various little toys and they are great! They also provide a nice area for her to play with her LP on top. Great purchase!5
Flimsy slides to hold binsJennahAs in the other reviews, the snap in plastic pieces to hold the bins are very flimsy. works for small/lightweight bins but not the bigger heavier ones. I did not realize the difference, and the solid wood ones were sold out when I wanted to redo the play room. It's still fine, as the larger bins are on the bottom and can just be set on the bottom and slide in and out. 3
Supports don’t stay KahlaI bought These and I love Them for organization but the white piece that holds the container up, isn’t strong enough and they break off. 1
Get the solid wood version!RebeccaThis laminate style has plastic pieces that hold in tubs in place. They bend over time and don’t hold well. The solid wood version has the slots to hold the bins carved into the wood so they don’t bend or break. Spend a little more and get the solid wood! It’s worth it! 3
