Impossible to assemble SusanneI’m a huge Ikea fan, really there is IKEA everywhere in my house but whoever designed this crap should loose their job. It is impossible to put together and a lot of my fellow reviewers experienced the same. The poles are too long!!! I wasted an hour to try to make it work - I couldn’t. Now I have to drive 2 hours to bring this sucker back. Every once in a while IKEA is producing crap and this is unfortunately one of it. DON‘T BUY !!!!1
Immediate tearingKristaLOVED this product and was SO happy that it was a space saver and perfect for my patio furniture. I assembled April 17th and today is May 7th. It is frayed on the entire frame.2
Poles too long/tent too tightChelseaThis was a breeze to set up until the last three poles. They seemed too long and ended up ripping the tent material. Its also too tight to getthe zipper closed easily. 3
Love it JenniferWill buy it again. It's awesome.5
Love it but be careful with assembly NicoleI love this product. It is nice and lightweight. I have a rooftop deck in a city and the thought of trying to get a heavy duty storage box up two spiral staircases seemed impossible. This was easy to make and lightweight so you can take it upstairs on your own. However, be careful with assembly, it can rip easily if the inner poles get stuck on a seam. I didn't even noticed it had detached during assembly and poked a hole through one side. Small enough to patch up with waterproof tape but the only downside to such sensible product. 4
A little tightGayleI like the size and everything fits inside but it’s so tightly fitted together the one zipper doesn’t close so it’s good it also has Velcro. 4
Will tear with assemblySethThe final three poles you must install are 1/2" too long. Because it was so tight the nylon 'skin' tore as I tried to get it in place. I love everything else about this, but IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO RIP WHEN YOU BUILD IT.
I am 100% certain this will tear as it gets UV damage. It is absolutely too tight. Those final 3 polls need to be shortened. Ikea should replace every one of these they've sold. Once they do this I would give 5 stars.2
Not pretty but not ugly!KatharineWe recently purchased outdoor furniture from ikea and I realized we needed somewhere to store the cushions when they weren't in use. While this wasn't the prettiest option, it isn't hard to look at either, and gets the job done! It's easy to assemble and keeps the cushions protected from the elements.5
Tricky assembly but good storageLeilaniPurchased 2 of these to store cushions. They were a little hard to assemble, but work well to store our furniture cushions. Not sure how they will do over time, but we're almost one year in and they are holding up fine.4
Looks great and very useful.SuzanneLooks great and very useful. Was a tougher one to put together solo.5
This is great for myKendraThis is great for my outdoor cushions.5
Great outdoor storage boxShibaI bought two of these, they are a good size for bulky storage, but narrow enough to be out of the way. It would have been 5 stars but putting together the second one, the long rods were a bit too long (or maybe the fabric was short), it worked but made a tiny tear on one seam.4
Perfect for pool toysDianePerfect size and material for storing pool toys! Unlike indoor storage boxes (eg Skubb), it’s thicker and lined to help keep water out. Ideal on covered patio or screened porch. Common sense, people: It’s NOT designed for year-round use (per the instructions) or long-term open exposure to elements. I’m in FL. Have been throwing toys in a heap inside screen porch for a couple years. Not willing to spend $200+ for a plastic deck box. This was easy to assemble. It’s is sturdy enough for the job, but is lightweight and a little bendy. Not flimsy, in my opinion, if you bear in mind it’s designed much like a tent: fabric stretched over poles to give it structure. For me, that’s a plus. Makes it easy to move around/break down for storage/moving. In the off season I’ll put it in the mud room to keep everything clean and dry. Love the shape. It’s narrow enough to fit perfectly behind the porch sofa, thereby using up previously wasted space. Designs like this is why I love ikea!5
Easy to assemble, easier to useCindyWe live close to the Gulf, weather changes every hour, storms brew- we grab to cushions and toss in this great storage product! Rain, wind or windy rain - throw them in and move the lightweight container out of harms way!5
Looked bigger in showroom!WandaNot one of Ikea's better products. It is flimsy and wobbly.4
Perfect storage solutionTraceyI love that this storage piece is tall enough for my large cushions. I have a sectional and all the cushions fit inside without bending.5
Great way to store your deck itemsFrankComfortably holds and protects your deck chair cushions and other items.5
Great storageKatherineI have 4 of these. The directions were easy to follow and the work perfectly for storing our outdoor cushions. I have left them out all winter with the cushions in them, the cushions were protected with no issues of rain or anything else.5
Just the right size for all my cushionsRoslynWanted to buy last summer put it off. Glad I did this summer.4
Poles too long for containerJoanellI took this back to the store and owned that perhaps I failed in putting this together but the last 3 poles are just too long for this container. The employees took it back and attempted to put it together and could not do so. They even pulled another off the floor and attempted to but that one together and the last 3 poles would not fit. They said there must have been an error in cutting of the poles. I offered to just trade it for the floor model but they refused. So I had to accept store credit. Which was too bad because this container would have been perfect had it been able to be assembled.1
