Wonderful ShelfKimberlyI was wandering through IKEA Live Oak looking for a couple of small items. Saw the shelf and loved it. Purchased the shorter shelf and brought it home. Easy to assemble. Husband installed using wall anchors. Loved how having this shelf freed up counter space. Ordered the longer shelf to replace the original shorter one. Assembled and installed the same day we received it. Used the shorter one in a different location. Love both of them. Purchased some puck lights from a different supplier to bring light back to the counter top. The lights are well hidden under the shelf. Great and charming and useful shelves! 5

Very heavy, high quality shelfAnonymousThis is no Ikea lightweight product. This is probably one of the highest quality products they offer, haha. Getting it put together is easy, took me about 30 minutes. My only recommendation is to think about what you want to hang. By getting two hanging buckets, I only had 2 hooks left for coffee cups and I wanted three. Had I known, I would have purchased more hooks to add on since you have to add them during building, not after. I'll probably pick up a hook that's open ended on the back to add on so I can have my extra. We have this over a coffee cart set up and it works perfectly. Very happy with it! Also want to add it doesn't come with wall screws (for liability reasons I'm sure) so be sure you have some or pick some up (three are needed for this unit).5

Too heavyAnonymousIt looks really nice. I think it's too heavy for just two screws to fix on the wall. So have to return this product. They doesn't go with screws. You have to buy separately.2

What is fibreboard?

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
