We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 70 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it's not heavier than the specified max load for the bench's top.
The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 66 lbs.

Great for shoesCaseyI have 3 kids who throw their shoes in the entryway. This unit has plenty of shelves and the sliding doors easily close so visitors don't have to see or trip over 20 pairs of shoes. The negative is that it's really unattractively plain. I've been putting seasonal table runners on top to make it cute and not such a long white block. You could also put outdoor seating cushions on it to use as a bench as well. Overall, it's a solid, well-made, functional piece that we put together in half an hour. (Didn't realize it was supposed to be a TV stand, but it would work for that as well, although it would be rather low to the ground.) 5
