Toys and soft toy animals everywhere? Here is some spacious storage that swallows up quite a lot and makes it easy for your child to tidy away their things after playtime – and quickly find them again.

Article Number306.146.44

Product details

A smart and simple storage that swallows up the children's toys and soft toy animals – and makes it easy to tidy up in a flash, especially if you do it together.

The top of the frame make the storage simple to carry and move to another room. After all, children want to be where you are.

If you want to create a calm impression, you can place the storage in a corner with the covered sides facing outwards.

The round holes in two of the sides make it easy to tuck away and quickly reach the favorite things, while the mesh fabric prevents them from falling out.

It is easy to see the contents through the mesh fabric.

The pocket on the outer side is perfect for small treasures or drawings

Sturdy and safe storage with rounded corners, and without sharp edges.

The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives.

The mesh fabric can be removed and washed.

Created in collaboration with children in playful sessions where they express their thoughts and ideas. Their opinions influence our decisions and make our products better. After all, they’re the experts.

idk about storage...but the cats love it!AltheaAs soon as I saw this I thought it was perfect for a cat bed. Im not sure how everyone that owns a cat doesnt see it right away. It was a pain in the butt to put together but for 20 bucks to keep the purrs purring, well worth it.4
Questioning all my life choicesSonyaQuestioning all my life choices at this point…Is it cute, yes. Was it worth it, no. This is not for the newbie Ikea shopper. Better know what you are doing and have patience. Not worth the effort at full price. I got it on sale, so maybe. Spend the extra money and don’t buy such a complicated piece from Ikea. They have easier assembly items that will get the job done. Time is money… Just some context, I grew up overseas, have been a loyal Ikea customer since before I was of drinking age, had a career in furniture and only trust Ikea assembly yourself products and this is a hard pass after I assembled one. Needed two, stopping while I am ahead.3
Nice place to hold stuffed toysDianaI had trouble at first assembling the storage compartment because in the instructions I could not tel that the top part has to go in the right direction, at first they looked to be the same. After I few tries, I learned the difference and then it was very easy to assemble5
Not that hard to assemble!LindeeThis looked perfect for storing all the stuffies and other small toys my kids collect. I was a little nervous about the prior reviews describing how hard it was to put together but it was fine. A little harder than the majority of ikea things, but not bad at all. I got two and the first one took about 10 minutes to assemble and the second one about 5 minutes. Tips - make sure the top curved points are oriented with the holes for the screws towards the inside of unit. This took me like 2-3 minutes to figure out I had backwards, but once I did everything else made sense. A short screwdriver would also be helpful but all I had was a regular length one and it went okay!5
Holds a lot of stuffed animals; annoying to buildKelseyI bought this without reading the reviews, which was probably a good thing. The assembly was definitely more difficult that we expected it to be, but not impossible. It holds a lot of stuffed animals, and I appreciate that the top is a "hard" surface when it sits next to the rocking chair in my kid's room because it is sort of an end table temporarily at bedtime.4
Fantastic storage, tough to buildLaurenThis is a little bit of a challenge to build because of the mesh and fabric but if you're careful and patient you can get it. Once it's built it's fantastic. Stores more than you think in a nice small footprint and easy for kids to reach4
Saw in store and looks good. Hard to assemble GinaI can easily read the instructions but find this physically hard to assemble. I hope difficulty assembling will mean the product is durable. Right now all of the pieces are sitting on my kitchen floor. 4
Despite being difficult to assemble, it's still cute for stuffies.ChristopherIt took me probably longer than it should have, but I was able to assemble it. I use it for my son's stuffies so they can have a "camping tent."4
Assembly OlhaVery hard to assemble 2
HorrendousBethThe reviews are right!! This is a nightmare to assemble. I am typically great at assembling anything IKEA, and I too wanted to prove the reviews wrong, but no dice. After about an hour, ripped mesh and most of the screws stripped, I gave up completely and now it’s just sitting in a heap. Tried to contact customer service but they were NOT helpful!1
The struggle was real…BeritI thought how hard could it be, these reviews must be exaggerating. No…. It was very difficult but not impossible. Will I buy another? probably not. Do I like how the finished product came out? yes. Love the new color, love the small footprint, and toy capacity. Needs Improvement on how it’s put together, needs a lot of reworking. Almost stripped the screws, like someone else mentioned. All this critic comes from someone who has a degree in product design and is a mom. Buy it if you’re ready for the challenge. 3
Buy if you like a challenge!KelliI read the reviews detailing the perils of assembling this contraption, and then I decided I’d buy it anyway to prove everyone wrong. I failed at that. At first, it seemed simple. Poles. Line up holes. Insert screws. It is a challenge to align screws to threads on a circular surface, but I’ve adjusted many student desks so I was prepared for that. Keeping the first two supports hooked while tightening the screws wasn’t easy, but didn’t make me scream. However, once I started with poles three and four, that’s where the trouble started. Getting the last screw threaded took 25 minutes. I stripped the screw, and nearly stripped a second. I highly suggest pulling the hooked part up through to the top to tighten since that’s where it’ll end up anyway. I also suggest a short screwdriver- the kind that fits in your palm. In the end, I clocked myself at one hour and twenty minutes to assemble this toy tent, but that also included several attempts from both dogs to “help”.4
10/10 Already Ordered MoreMadisonSpecifically bought this because of the reviews. It’s so simple to put together, those who struggled might need an evaluation on their cognitive abilities… thank you ikea!5
Bought this because of so many bad reviewsErickI read every single bad review, which is basically every review for this container. Not many pieces, building the supports is pretty straightforward. The fabric part, yeah, it's a headache. Nothing wants to stay put while you try to install the cross supports. It falls over, the pieces slip out of alignment, it's not pleasant. However, I was still able to build it in less than 30 minutes, with all pieces in their proper location. After you get the upright supports into the fabric, be sure that the cross supports are in the proper orientation, or the frame will fight you every step of the way. Also make sure you pay attention to how the fabric is orientated because there are holes on 2 sides of the container. It could be better, but nowhere near the degree of difficulty that 75% of the reviewers claim. Once built, its a great addition to a playroom.5
ABSOLUTELY NOTRikkiWhat in the absolute world was this assembly… I’ve still yet to get it together, holes don’t align, can’t get brackets placed. Step by step is helpful if the screws / brackets actually went in!!!!!!1
Love it!DianeI got this for storing my baby's toys. Assembly isn't easy but doable! There is a step missing towards the end so I had to redo it. I also wish the bottom level had a shelf, it's bare. Please add another shelf or give the option to do so.4
DO NOT BUY THISRachelI have assembled countless beds, shelves, dressers, chairs, cabinets, kids kitchens etc over the years from IKEA and nothing has come close to how difficult this has been to attempt to assemble. Do not buy this unless you want to experience a mental breakdown. This is not a simple toy tent, this is a torture device. I will be returning half assembled if I don’t throw it out of my window from rage first. 1
long assembly, good dealKatelynThis is a great toy storage organizer, kids love putting their things in it. Yes it takes a while to put together, maybe 20 minutes, and you should use an electric screwdriver. But it comes together fine in the end. I wouldn't let the bad reviews stop you from buying it.4
DO NOT BUY AT ALL COSTSJackWorst assembly process I’ve ever seen. Screws have lock tight on them so I stripped the screws trying to unscrew them per the instructions to add metal bar. Ended up trashing. Not worth $15 of my time to drive an hour to IKEA to return. DO NOT BUY !!!!!1
ImpossibleKellyThis was the hardest thing I’ve ever put together from IKEA. The instructions are awful, per usual, and I forgot to put a piece in but there was no way I was going to take it apart and put it back together again. 3

More playful storage

TIGERFINK is smart and simple storage that can swallow the children’s stuffed animals and toys and is easy to move around. So they can find their favorite things fast and easy – and stow everything away when it’s time to call it a night and go to bed. But TIGERFINK actually became more than that. When we invited children to test the storage, they made it a part of the fun and games – and turned it into a bunk bed for the soft toys.
