Beautiful, minimal designMichaelTook about 1.5 hrs to put together, excellent value, might paint or stain at some point but it looks great as is.5
Do not buy unless you know how to troubleshoot and do minor woodworking tasksScottThis was missing pieces and some of the hole were not drilled properly. 1
Missing partsEwelinaFirst time disappointed in an ikea purchase. The bed is a pain to assemble, per usual, but this time my box was missing the wooden pins that are absolutely necessary in order to put the bed together. I need to go buy the missing parts from a different store as currently the bed is not usable. 1
Warped boards impossible to assembleCalebMultiple boards are so warped that the bed frame cannot be put together. IKEA doesn’t have replacements, can only return and buy again, however it’s completely out of stock. So now I have no bed frame to sleep on while I wait for a restock. Unbelievable. 1
Lovely Simple BedNatashaWe got this for our guest room. It's not super heavy-duty, but a really nice for the price. It does sit a little low to the ground, but that's really a preference thing. Again, amazing price for what you get.5
Do Not PurchaseKateDo not purchase this bed. Poorly manufactured, screws don't thread through necessary pieces creating an unstable furniture piece. Poorly drilled holes making it *literally* impossible to put together. I contacted IKEA via chat about the problem and was told the only solution for the misaligned piece was to bring it two hours away to the nearest store. I've purchased furniture from IKEA before, but not with this level of manufacturing faults. An expensive (for the wood quality), but very Poorly made, impossible to construct, piece of "furniture". Disappointed with the quality and customer service (which was essentially non-existent). I love IKEA too, it's a treat for me to go, but I will stick with items that are unboxed and that I can fully inspect before purchase.1
Unsuspected IssuesJosephAlthough I like this bed now, from the moment I opened the box it was a roller coaster. When looking at the description, I did not realize that this was not stained and was untreated wood. Additionally, some of the pieces warped a little which made fitting pieces together less ideal.3
Sturdy and attractiveLeahI have to admit that I am surprised by how sturdy this bed is at this price. I am a BIG girl. No squeaks or creaks and no wiggle. Love my new bed!5
Good frameAnonymous reviewerI got this frame about last year September and it was in tact the entire time. No cracks, no squeaks, nothing. It held together very well. Unfortunately, I lost a part while in the process of moving so I haven't been able to put it together again. I recommend this bed frame though. The simplicity and sturdiness of the frame is perfect for a college student. Assembly sucks, yes, but following the directions was pretty straight forward. Just make sure you set aside an hour or two for assembly.5
Avoid thisAnonymousThis is by far the worst assembly experience I've had with an ikea product. I would highly reccomend a solid headboard vs the slats of this model. Along with the arduous assembly, the frame cracked within the first week or so of my owning it. The few metal parts will squeak with every movement. I love most ikea stuff. Heck, I love most of the TARVA line, but I would not recommend this bedframe2
