Tarva bedAmyExcellent quality! Very strong, easy to assemble, looks fabulous, great price for the quality. The only improvement could be the pictures of assembly were ver small and a bit difficult to read, but we finally figured it out and made it work.5
Good bed - but people need to read descriptionsAmy O.Happy with this bed. Especially for the price. Anyone thinking that the metal slats are meant to support the mattress haven’t read the description or followed assembly instructions. You have to buy the slatted bed base LUROY. That said, I,m not sure why IKEA doesn’t just include it, but they seem to do this with several beds I’ve bought from them.
Decent cheap bed. I like the plain wood and ultra simple styling.4
Worst ikea buid. Takes hours, poor instructionsK R.Its a bed once you put it together, it does whats requested. I've put a fair amount of ikea together and this is the wOrSt build. Instructions are bad (I'm looking at you figure 9), the hardware doesn't fit well (some of the metal bits don't have threads and you have to force small screws), and while simple looking it took hours. hours!! So give yourself plenty of time and calm to do this one.2
Perfect guest room bedGigiLove the look and ease of making the bed.5
Nice bed!Appleonea E.I bought two of these for my boys. We used a drill to put them together. I love the natural wood look! The only downside is that the metal piece that attaches under keeps popping out. The screws are so so tiny and don’t stay in!5
My daughter loved this bedDelaneyMy daughter loved this bed for her beachy/ neutral room. Very sturdy.5
Weak screws, need to improveVerified BuyerWeak screws, need to improve the quality.2
great engineeringDanLVThis bed is well engineered, very simple to assemble and blends with any decor5
Nice bed frame, but requires some workAndyC562This bed frame is real nice and affordable. My toddler son loves it. However, if you don't want the slat assembly that Ikea sells, you will need to cut some slats at a local Home Depot. I did and it turn out real nice. I think the slats I made are actually stronger and more comfortable. Just do some good measurements. Create enough slats to create minimal gap between the slats. Measure twice and cut once4
Sturdy, Space Saving Twin BedRoadTrip2020I'm an adult male, typically transferring from location to location, state to state for work. I love to travel light and sleep tight. This Tarva frame combined with an IKEA twin spring mattress fits my bill beautifully. Lightweight, sturdy pinewood frame and EASY to set up. Great choice!5
Sturdy & attractiveLuna MomMy daughter loves this bed. It is very sturdy. The neutral wood looks good with any color. It has a good amount of storage space underneath.5
Simple qualityPiperkatSolid wood, easy to put together- took about 45min. Natural wood has option to stain or paint however you prefer. Must also get the slatted bed base (separate purchase item) to use it.5
This Bed is a NightmareHope from SaugertiesSo. I ordered the bed, picked it up, attempted to assemble for 90 minutes. I called for help and after 40 minutes on phone — IKEA rep also expressed surprise that the bed slats needed to support the mattress are sold separately. Both unbelievable and insane. Why aren’t all necessary structural parts included????? Big fail.1
Sturdy Frame for ChildrencatherinThe frame of the bed is sturdy for a toddler or young child. Its a soft wood so am not anticipating it to last more than a few years. Also I am only giving this only two stars because there was no support beam included and there were none available at my local store. The staff recommended a metal bar beam but there was no bracket to attach it included with the beam and no place to attach it to the frame. Was disappointed that the staff sold me a support beam that was not intended for this frame and wasting time and money returning it. I ended up going to Home Depot and having boards cut for support.2
Simple & StylishAjx13Purchased two beds for my son's bedrooms and love them! Easy to assemble, very sturdy. The metal 'V' included is not made to support the mattress, you need bed slats - sold separately - ignore those useless reviews, lol. I highly recommend using with the Lonset slatted bed base. We use the 4 foam mattress with no issues shifting above the frame of the bed, but I could see how a standard mattress would be more difficult (low lip.) Great price!5
Excellent Starter Bed!Johnny13Bought this bed for our 8 year old son...He absolutely loves the fact that it only has a headboard and no other rails at all!..5
Beware! No Mattress Support!jnocellaThe frame and headboard look great and are easy to assemble. The main problem I had was trying to support the mattress. It comes with two very thin metal rods with ridiculously tiny screws which are supposed to support a 40lb mattress. My mattress fell right through when I was done. This is a major problem. I had to add extra support with wood from Home Depot. I'm still trying to figure out why this frame is sold with inadequate mattress support. There appears to be different versions of this frame with different prices. It is very confusing and I as the consumer wasn't informed about the lack of mattress support.2
yessi0really good affortable bed and very comfortable love it and the style is the best5
Ania22I bought it for the guest bedroom and it looks and smells(pine) beautiful. The room is small but this bed makes it look bigger because it it light color and light design.4
Headboard and frame.christabelleLove the design and simplicity of this bed! I've bought one for my extra bedroom and one for my grand daughter too!5
