Product details

The table folds to be easy to store when not in use – you only need to loosen a screw, no tools required.

The black-painted underframe is made of weather-resistant, powder-coated steel and the table top is made of acacia, a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood thanks to the high density of its wood fibers.

For added durability, and so you can enjoy the natural expression of the wood, the furniture has been pre-treated with a layer of semi-transparent wood stain.

Care

The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary, and re-staining it on a regular basis.

Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.

Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.

Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

Cute but not 'foldable' easilyOdetteThe table is nice but the foldability is oversold. You have to mostly disassemble it except for two leg notches to be able to 'fold it up' and store flat. At that point you just have two separate pieces really, because the notches are wide and the pieces easily come apart. The tension of all the pieces in place when it's built is what keeps the legs in the notches. The chairs in this series are actually foldable. You don't have to disassemble them to store them flat. If you never plan to disassemble it, then it will work perfectly. If, like me, you wanted something to store easily, this is not it unless you're fine with disassembly each time. 2

I needed another one for my balcony, so I ordered another one fully expecting it to be more cheaply made and flimsier than the old one, which is often the case these days, sadly, even at IKEA.
