Care

The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary, and re-staining it on a regular basis.

Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.

Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.

Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

Trendy and convenientChavaThese are super light and easy to move around. A little tricky to open and close, I use my foot. They're not very comfortable but for non-picky guests, kids, students, etc it's totally fine. They are prettier than the average folding chair. I have 8, now I'm conflicted whether or not to buy more. On the one hand, they are cute, cheap, and easy, on the other hand maybe it's mean to make guests sit on such uncomfortable chairs for 3 hours at a dinner.4

Poorly constructedPaigeOrdered 2 chairs that require no assembly. Top wooden rail fell off both chairs before they were unpacked at my home. Screws go directly into wood and holes are stripped so they don't hold. I know they are inexpensive, but would think they should hold together more than 1 day. Have purchased many useful items from Ikea over the years. These are very poorly made.1

We bought a couple of these (plus the table) to use on our decking but to keep stored in the house. The chairs unfold and fold up fine and are surprisingly comfortable to sit and lean back on. They don't take up much room either. Great.
