Product details

A light warm, easy-care comforter in soft, dobby woven cotton and a hollow fiber filling from recycled sources.

The soft, light fibers keep their volume and insulation ability, allowing your body to breathe and maintain an even temperature throughout the night.

Panel stitched with intermediate walls to keep the filling light and fluffy, and to keep it in place.

A good choice if you often feel warm while sleeping.

The comforter is machine-washable at 140°F/60°C, a temperature that kills dust mites.

The duvet is sold in a cotton drawstring bag so you can roll it up and pack it away when not in use. You can also use the bag as a laundry tote or for storing other personal belongings.

Beautiful as a Quilt But Noisy!RobinGreat as a quilt, would be good in a duvet also but the fabric is very, uh, noisy! Krinkle, krinkle. We've washed it twice so far. Hopefully it will soften up over time. Still, we love it. Works great.4
Sweet DuvetDaianaWarm and hope after wash becomes more quiet 😊with no noise.5
King is size for queen duvetBradWay smaller than it needs to be, advertised as a size for king duvet, was barely large enough to fit one of my queen duvets1
Hot and kinda scratchy feels very polyester is it really cotton ? Pretty to look at but this is not for a warm climate like Florida even with ac cranking cool in bedroom it HOLDS heat not breathable Buy it if you live in cooler climates ONLY LisaScratchy feels like poly ..sorta holds heat not breathable in north Florida (even with ac cranking) Looks good but does not sleep cool or breath . The full feels hot and builds heat maby good for a cooler climate not in Florida Room at at 70 and hot sitting on this 3
Soft and lightweightCathyProvides light warmth and looks great as well as good quality materials. We went back and bought another. 5
Very stiff, not soft at allPatriciaI am very disappointed with this comforter. The cotton cover is so thick and stiff, it crackles with any small movement. Not comfortable at all and quite perplexing when I was expecting a lightweight summer duvet. I washed it immediately to remove any sizing in the fabric, but no, it's just a very heavy and stiff cotton. Otherwise, seems to be well made.1
Super Warm and SoftKennethI bought this for my daughter, it was super warm and the material was soft. 5
Well made but too heavy, warm and noisy for usMaryI bought this because it seemed to be well made with panels and a better fabric count and Dobby woven. However at 82 ounces, it is just too heavy for me and feels like it presses down on me during the night. We keep our room in the low 60s F but I sleep very warm and found that I kept throwing it off even with just a flannel sheet. Also due the fabric makes a funny crackling noise which neither my partner nor I cared for. We will be gifting it as it is a nice comforter, just not for us.4
Great comforter!AlmaSo comfy. Looks and feels great!5
Perfect for me and my husband!LeslieI run cold and my husband runs hot, so I was looking for a comforter that would work for both of our temps. I also wanted a comforter with some fluff/cloud-likeness to it. The Strandmolke was the perfect fit.5

Too Small & ScratchyErinI was so excited to finally receive this comforter, but it’s a bust. After one wash (in my XL capacity front loader) the material feels scratchy and several spots are tearing. Also, it’s waaaay too small. The dimensions say 86” tall (king), but I just spread the comforter out on the living room floor and measured it. The 86” edge is only 80.5”. I’m not going to bother measuring the other side…it’s going back. I wish IKEA would stop manufacturing such poor textiles. I’ve been a loyal IKEA shopper for years, but the bedding quality is getting worse and worse. In this case, I purchased a king comforter, and it’s practically the size of a king mattress topper.1

How to care for your polyester duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
