Fits Duvet Cover; warm and cozyAlisonFirst off, for folks complaining it doesn’t fit their IKEA duvet cover, try turning the duvet itself a quarter turn. We assumed the tag end of the duvet would be at the bottom of the duvet cover (foot) but discovered it’s ill fitting that way. We turned it a quarter turn, with the tags on the side, and now it’s perfect! This duvet is wonderful — warm, but never hot, soft, pliable and cozy!5

The king is NOT king size MelissaWOWWWW the king size is so far off it’s laughable. I saw other reviews stating the same and had to leave my feedback too. My king duvet is at least 20in wider, so it’s not even a little off it’s WAY off. I bought this a few months ago for a move and just opened it and the nearest IKEA is now 4hrs away. So a return is essentially useless to me now. Triple check your measurements and do not trust Ikea to follow any standard sizing. 1

“King” size was not a kingAnonymous reviewerI was very excited about the product and bought a king for my queen bed because I prefer it to have extra length on all sides, I could tell as soon as I put it in the IKEA king duvet cover & then on the bed that something was off. I got out a measuring tape & this “king” comforter is actually the size of the queen/full. I don’t know how it could be mislabeled or this could be overlooked, nearly 20” short is a big difference . I hope it’s a fluke (that there is a true king in the store ) & that I can exchange it - but will be sure to ask to measure the new one before leaving the store!1

Material

How to care for your polyester duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
