Weird design choices.SunnyThe light is not very bright but works well as a small night light. However the product has some really weird design choices. There is a huge strangulation hazard label that is stuck to the power adapter cable, which could be made a bit smaller. What I don't get is why they made the power adapter so long, not dual voltage (only supports 100-120VAC) so if you ever move to a 220-240VAC country or bring it along while traveling, it won't be compatible. Also the power adapter outputs 4VDC, which I also can't understand either considering USB is 5V and they could have easily added a resistor inside and a miniUSB or microUSB port on it for cheap. The power adapter is also long, should have made it smaller or flat. It's OK, but IKEA could have saved money manufacturing this by using off the shelf parts instead of custom designing a power adapter for this product, not to mention if it was USB, they could have skipped on the power adapter since almost everyone has a USB charger.

Beautiful light but the cord looks like grass to my catAnonymous reviewerThis light is so amazing and beautiful. It saves me from my nightmares but my cat loves eating grass and she ate the cord and I had to get it repaired. Now the light works again and I taped the cord to the wall. I just wish it was easier to replace the cord or it was stronger so the cat wouldn't eat it.

Adorable Night LightVirgiiaThis little cat night light is absolutely adorable. It gives off a very soft light and you can easily change the color of the cat by pushing a button on the back. I currently have it in our main floor bathroom and have it set for a pink/lavender color to match my Valentine's Day decor. I plan to purchase a couple more as gifts for friends who are cat lovers and enjoy quirky things.

Too brightAnonymous reviewerMy little one likes the light because it's cute and there's a lot of changing colors, but it's too bright for a nightlight. When you leave it on changing colors it's like flashing neon lights. It lights up the hallways if the for is left ajar. I miss our old silicone nightlight from Ikea. That had much gentler light and brightness adjustment. And it was truly portable with a battery.
