Beautiful patternUrsulaI was a bit worried about the quality because of the low price, but it really is very nice. It looks beautiful on the bed, especially with the sage color bedsheets. It just makes me happy to come into the bedroom. It looks so nice. The only thing that I would change and would pay more money for is if it had loops. I always have to sew on loops so that the duvet insert doesn’t slide around.

Not scratchyKateI was looking for a cover for my duvet and zeroed in on the Sorgmantel. When I read so many reviews saying that it is "scratchy," I was puzzled. But this didn't stop me from buying it, and I'm glad I did. My personal observation is that the fabric is crisp, not scratchy. "Crisp" as you would expect a percale sheet to be. This is what I wanted. Now, if buyers expect Sorgmantel to feel like a microfiber which is silky and fluid, or a high thread-count sateen which is tightly woven, I can understand how they might be disappointed. But I am delighted with the light, crisp texture of my duvet cover, which has already softened from one wash. The design is lovely -- the green leans toward a gray sage and the background is a bright white -- and the cover does not look cheap. I was considering making my own cover, but at such an affordable price it was silly not to purchase this duvet instead.

ScratchyMinaI have washed and dried this 4 times trying to soften the fabric. If you like sandpaper in bed then this is the one for you. returning it, very unhappy because I love the print.
