Ala Carte Light, Price Covers Pretty ShellCharleneI had high hopes for this design, but it’s not user friendly. Forces you to buy and use proprietary rechargeable batteries that cost nearly as much as the light, plus supposed to be ready to use but aren’t and you don’t even receive a charging cord or batteries! Ad states that it is for outdoors but has cautions regarding water intrusion. It’s really just folded over mesh with a plastic fixture like what you might mount in your closet. You unscrew the plate, add two batteries. Screw on plate. Press down on a soft indent on the top of the plastic to turn on/off. Other buyers are mistaken thinking recharged by sun or has a timer. Not advertised as a solar light. No auto on/off timer unless pushing the indent sets something. Bottom rubber piece (easily lost I fear) pops off to insert a charge cord for batteries. Unclear how to know if fully charged. Bought battery plug in charger, more unforeseen cost. Bought other two size lamps. Same set-up process via eyeglass screwdriver.
