New Cover for an older SoderhamnHarperI am so relieved that I could just buy a fresh cover for my 10 year old Soderhamn! The older fabric lasted but at a certain point it just looked shabby. This new breathable fabric is great and the backing is more sturdy than the old type. The cushions seem to stay in place better too.

Cute, but very uncomfortableCynta PatricePurchased this sofa even after reading the reviews in hopes I could add a couch topper to make it more comfortable. Assembly was not as terrible as the reviews say, I did it alone in 1.5 hrs. Easy-peasy. However, the sofa was very hard and low to the ground which made it worse. The couch topper didn't help and I knew eventually I would be unhappy at the comfort level for the price paid. Sadly, I returned the sofa, but the staff were great with the return and did not haggle me about anything.

PERFECT COVER REPLACEMENT!!! MalloryHave had my sofa for 5 years and was ready to replace the covers. Was hesitant based on some of the reviews, but SO HAPPY I purchased! The green was lighter than the original and fabric is softer, but the fit is PERFECT!! Could not have been easier to replace!
quality not as good as older coversPatriceBought our sectional in Samsta dark grey, was perfect - soft and easy to clean - still have that cover in great shape. Replaced covers a few years later with a light blue - beautiful, soft, sturdy fabric but not washable (dry clean) - it stained in spots and could not be saved - no replacements available. Bought the Viarp cover and it looks beautiful. It is easy to replace and fits perfectly. But the fabric quality is not good - it is not soft, feels thin and was pilling after a couple of months. It is washable - but I question how it would survive a wash. Would love to keep a lighter color cover - but need to find one to match the quality of the older covers. Will have to go back to my original dark grey - or consider a third party company with better quality options.

Beautiful designVanessaThis sofa is beautiful and comfortable. However, I cannot get past the feeling of the cover. It is extremely itchy and raspy on the skin, nothing compare to the cover material of my previous IKEA couch. I don’t know what is going on, but the quality of the covers have extremely declined. It feels poorly made and the materials used feel coarse and low budget. I wish IKEA would used better materials for the covers.
Course feel, cheap lookMichaelBring back the original soft flat fabric covers please.... I bought a new soderhamn after moving and was deeply shocked by the course texture of the sofa covers now. Doesn’t look as clean and elegant and certainly not nearly as comfortable as the original flat soft covers. It’s an offense to wrap such a beautifully designed structure in this burlap. Literally can’t sit in this sofa with the discomfort for more than a couple hours… makes no sense
The best pandemic purchaseAnonymous reviewerHands-down the best purchase my husband & I have made during the pandemic. We purchased the 3-seat with the chaise, switched the legs by purchasing the MORABO wood legs, & are in love. The comfort does take some getting used to at first as the cushions are not like a traditional sofa. A month later, it is so comfortable & the depth allows you to be able to spend hours watching tv (what else is there to do?!). Highly recommend!
