The bedside table/shelf is easy to assemble.
The size of the bedside table is suitable for most laptops.
Your child can hang headphones or something else they want close at hand on the small knob.
If you want a large space in the box instead of several compartments, just remove the shelf.

Cute and versatileMeeraThis is a nice little nightstand, or storage box depending on how you build it. I really like how there are three different configurations. The horizontal one is perfect for my low bed and I imagine if I got a taller bed I could take it apart and rebuild it as vertical. Assembly was very simple and quick for me.

Perfect nightstand for my kid CallieMy kid is a blooming reader and this nightstand works perfectly for him. We built it vertical. The divided shelf is where he stores his TBR or favorites and the horizontal shelf is his current reads. The top is just enough space for a small tissue box, his water, and a humidifier if needed. The little hook knob doesn’t really seem to be super functional but he tries to hand his lanyard on it. Overall very happy with our purchase. Very study. Doesn’t move or shake. Nothing has fallen or moved or broken.

Great for the priceKylieI bought this for my toddler to use in his play kitchen. I love how versatile this piece is, however I wish I could switch the direction of the shelves when it is horizontal. The other thing that bugs me is that the stoppers for the holes are blue. I know this is intended for children but it makes no sense and these should at least have the option of being white. Other than that this is super cute and can be used for so many things!

Function and versatilityAndreaMy son wanted a bedside table/dresser for his room. Now that he’s a teen he wanted more than just a single shelf. He needed a place to put an alarm clock, phone abs phone cords, journals, books, water bottle, etc. With this table he’s got that all covered and then some. In the vertical position, the feet made it the perfect height to go with the twin IKEA bed we had purchased years ago. But it could just as easily be assembled with the feet in the other side and used horizontally for a smaller bed/child. Took me about an hour to put together.
Right look, not the right quallityInessaGot Smussla for the girls room to keep their new record player and vinyls - perfect look and size. Very cute and the usual IKEA quality, however the 2 of the legs had some kind of defect and would not stay in play screwed on. Probably should take in to replace but it's such a hassle and no guarantee a new product would not have the same problem :-(
DisappointedRebeccaI love IKEA, this item is flawed as I was putting together I noticed the wood chipping and it’s white so very noticeable. Now I have to return and the store is over an hour away. Not happy!

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
