Very comfortable lighter weight blanket NathanI recently bought this blanket as I was looking for a nice lighter weight blanket for the warmer months. This fit the bill very nicely! The weight is just right. Wish it had loops at the corners but I solved that with a set of 4 clips. I was aware that there were no loops but the sheer affordability of this item made the lack of corner loops not a deciding factor at all
Does not have ties at the cornerMichaelI was very surprised to find out that there were was nothing to tie the duvet cover to on the duvet insert. This was very frustrating, and was not what I expected. Also, ordering online and returning items is a pain and they charge you for shipping (both delivery and return). I will not even be refunded the delivery fee! Extremely frustrating because I don't have a way to get to any stores nearby. I will not be buying anything online every again because I don't know if the product will have an issue and returning costs more money.
Very happy!StephanieI recently repainted my bedroom, and decided to retire my current (warm) Smasporre, in favor of a light-warm Smasporre. This review will be for 2 comforters, as I also bought one for my grandson’s double bed.
First let me say that the duvet I retired is a few years old, and has been washed several times. There is no shifting or balling of the fill, and all the stitching around the edges is intact.
The light-warm duvets are thinner, lighter, and still very soft. I’ve been sewing for decades, so I sewed loops on the comforters to secure them in the duvet covers. That’s my only issue with the IKEA duvets and duvet covers; no ties or loops.
I washed and dried the duvets using a regular cycle, and the stitching on both duvets is intact with no shifting of the fill. More quality IKEA products I expect to have for years!

Duvet insertRobinThere are no loops to attach a cover to the duvet insert. The weight is perfect for spring summer otherwise. I just hate I can’t put a cover on as it is white and will show any stains

How to care for your polyester duvet
With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
