Gorgeous but you will have lint EVERYWHEREReneeI bought a set of these body towels and hand towels for myself as a birthday gift. They are so beatiful and look wonderful hanging in my bathroom. The towels have held up pretty well the past 2 years.
The problem is the shedding. Holy cow, these towels shed horribly. My white bathroom floors, corners of the tub rim, and sink always have a layer of fuzz that has to be cleaned weakly.

shedJeffI bought the blue and black ones. The colors look great, but they shed and pill terribly. The fibers get all over my face and body, which is really annoying. Not only that, but you’ll also find your bathroom floor and other items covered in lint from these towels.
To make matters worse, the color bled as well. These are some of the worst items I’ve ever bought from IKEA. I’m extremely disappointed and wish I could get a refund.

Pretty but too much lint.KarlyI really wanted to love these towels, the colors are great and match my place perfectly. However, no matter how many times I’ve washed them, they leave so much lint. The lint ends up everywhere and I can’t wash the towels with anything else.

Love the whole SLÅNHÖSTMAL seriesJohnWonderful towels. Very soft and absorbent, thin enough to dry quickly. Inexpensive enough to have several of each color. They do tend to shed quite a bit when new, so running them through the washer and dryer a few times will help reduce the shedding. (Use baking soda in the washer which also helps reduce shedding.) Otherwise these are perfect towels for me and add nice color to my otherwise drab bathroom.

Maybe a few more washes would help? But I’m getting ready to just call it bc it’s so annoying to shower to then be covered in little black fuzzies
