      Low QualityKevinHave had these installed for a few years now. I can say they are overpriced for laminate. The glued edges are all falling apart, seemingly from the sun being under a window and the laminate surface is easily scratched and damaged by heat. For the same cost you can get real butcher block.1

It scratches super easily and does not appear to be holding up to daily kitchen use. I regret this purchase and wish I had spent more to buy the quartz or other alternative countertop. There is a 25 year warranty on this countertop but since it was cut I am not sure it covers. I think this countertop would be great as a desk but definitely not in the kitchen.1
      Unique tabletop for budget ikea deskMollyI ended up picking this countertop up around a year ago for a DIY ikea desk, and it's held up amazingly! The end piece veneer is still smooth to this day, hasn't peeled despite the constant heat from PC towers, and has shown no signs of bowing. While this was originally designed as a countertop, it's served us amazingly well. If you're planning on using this for your kitchen, just make sure to apply oil as recommended, and you'll be golden!5
