A cozy and embracing sofa bed where the functions are well concealed – both a bed and a storage space are hidden here.

Create an extra seat or a single bed by pulling the armrest and folding it down.

Under the seat, you’ll find a practical storage space that keeps your items hidden but close at hand.

The foldable armrest can be placed on either the right or left side, allowing you to adapt the sofa to your space.

The cover is made from Vissle dope-dyed fabric in polyester – a durable material with a smooth weave and a nice two-tone effect.

Flexibility, style, and compactness at the price of comfortAnonymous reviewerThe SKÖNABÄCK was very easy to assemble. One person should be able to handle it easily in under an hour. It's a very stylish little couch. It is small, but big enough for two average adults to sit snugly side by side, or three adults with the pull-out portion folded down. I got it in vissle yellow-green and am very pleased with the color, although it's more of an olive green in my opinion. The SKÖNABÄCK is super flexible, with the option to have an extra seat and storage underneath. What it is not is the world's most comfortable couch. The cushions are VERY firm although I'm sure they'll soften up over time. I'm 6'0 and the seat is not uncomfortably shallow but definitely just on the brink. I also think I wouldn't market this as a "sleeper sofa" – it's basically a loveseat with the option to pull it out into a sofa. It'd be fine to crash for a night or two but it's much too narrow and firm to convincingly be called a "bed."4

The most enjoyable part of designing it was developing a mechanism that allows the sofa to quickly transform into an open daybed for a nap or more seating for guests. It's kind of like a magic trick, and it’s fun to see people’s reactions! My idea is that the sofa should always adapt to changing needs – and be good-looking at all times."
