Nearly great tea lightsColbyThese well designed electric tea light replacements have the perfect form factor, decent flickering, and come with rechargeable batteries and a convenient magnetic usb-c charging base.
Unfortunately, unlike similar lights for the last 15 or so years, they seem to have no automatic timers to automatically turn off and back on. The base has a button on it that appears to be limited to determining if each light is fully charged yet. The manual on and off control for each light is a recessed switch that's not very convenient to operate. The battery life does seem to run for at least 36 hours, though.
Realistic rechargeable tea lights!Lars-ErikI’m very pleased with this set of tea lights that comes with a rechargeable base. There is a little switch at the bottom of each “candle” where you turn it on. Then place it in a holder or small votive glass, and enjoy a smokeless, odorless, realistic flickering “flame!” When you want to extinguish the candle, flip the little switch back off.
Note: The pillar candles in this series have a built-in timer where the light comes on and goes off at approximately the same time every night.

Excellent purchase!MaryI am a longtime lover of candles and have never liked fake candles. These are actually wonderful for my glass votive holders on my window sill in the evenings and at night. There is no worry that smoke will discolor the blinds or window frame. I ended up falling asleep before I turned them off for the night and woke up to them still going and had no worries about the safety of them. And the little light wavers just enough that it gives off the feel of real candlelight. The fact that they are rechargeable means not having to worry about replacing a battery. I like them so much I just bought some for my daughter as a gift.

Work well!AmyThese are great for creating a warm glow when you don’t want to burn a candle. They last in a charge for a long time. I do wish they would automatically turn off after maybe 6 hours of so.

If they only had a timerSteveThese tealights are the perfect size for all sorts of applications. The light is a bit yellow but still nice.
In this day and age its hard to believe that these do not have a timer function. When I purchased them I had assumed that they had the timer function since its pretty much the standard these days. Not worth the hassle or drive to return them. They would be a 5 star if the timer function were included.
Not Timed Lights / Buttons Hard To ReachJonThese lights are nice (although the flickering led is not quite white-yellow, there’s a slight green color to it), but there’s no timer like just about every other battery powered light from IKEA. Either they’re on or off and the buttons are recessed, so they may be hard to manipulate if you have short nails.
My last return to ikea was slow, so I’ll be keeping these, but they have limited use for me, since I have to manually turn them off after each use.
IKEA used to sell led tealights that work great on a timer, but they use button batteries (non rechargeable), so I had hoped these were their eco friendly replacements… not quite, but close.
