SKAFTET floor lamp base provides overhead lighting – with no ceiling outlet. You can slide the lamp base under a sofa to save floor space and combine it with any lamp shade to create a personal lamp.

You can easily create your own personal lamp by combining the lamp base with your choice of lampshade, or just a decorative light bulb.

    Lampshade is sold separately.

    Use an opal light bulb if you have an ordinary lamp shade or lamp and want an even, diffused distribution of light.

    Use a clear light bulb if you have a lamp shade or lamp with a perforated or cut-out pattern or other airy, open design and want the pattern to cast effects on the wall and ceiling.

    The lamp base should not be used with a glass lampshade since it is too heavy and can cause the lamp base to tip.

    Special waste handling may be required. Please contact your local authorities for more information.

I took it home and put it together with the bulb and shade. It broke the next day. I returned it and purchased something else I had been wanting.1

Not as picturedLili55555Bought this about a month ago. It’s functional and assembly was easy. However, the online photos are NOT accurate. It arcs way further out. The electrical cord is also threaded through the casing in such a way that you can’t remove a segment. If I’d known how large it actually was, I wouldn’t have bought it. However, everything else about it is fine.2
Had to return -- couldn't assemblestellabella16The holes of the arch pieces would not line up in order to screw them together. The base mounted fine but I couldn't finish assembly. I plan on exchanging for another one and I'm hoping this isn't a widespread defect. Otherwise appears very sturdy and as pictured.2
