Great for displaying figurines, models, etc.IanBought three recently and had no issues with welds. Using them to put things on display - anime figurines, Gunpla, and my little collection of gashapon. It's nice that there's only a tiny lip to the edge of the shelf. I'd love to see one without a lip, or maybe a clear shelf.5
Terrible welds, one support arm fell apartNatalieI bought four of these, and had only set up one of them. Two days later, and the weld for the shelf support gave way, causing it to heavily tilt and dump its contents. In examining this and the other 3 shelves, the supports are BARELY welded together, which is what led to the failure. IKEA needs to check out the manufacturing, because these are not constructed such that they can be trusted to safely hold items.1
